You will have to go into settings and set it to 144hz. It does not come straight out of the box that way! All monitors are that way

The HDMI ports on the LG 32" Class QHD Gaming Monitor with FreeSync™ (31.5" Diagonal), Model # 32GK650F-B are HDMI 2.0 ports and they are all HDCP 2.2 compliant. It has a Freesync range of 48-144Hz via DisplayPort and 48-100Hz via HDMI...^IFV

Q: Is the freesync (32gk650f-b) version capable of g-sync? i don't see it on the list of compatible monitors on nvidia's site.

As Seps mentioned, when paired with a 1070+ or 2070+ series NVIDIA card this IS capable of G-Sync... HOWEVER, the catch is it must be manually enabled AND every time the monitor goes to sleep OR the computer gets rebooted it must be manually re-enabled. I bought this one along with a 2070 and while it works with G-Sync it was just too much of a pain and returned it and purchased the G-Sync version. The official G-Sync works perfectly every time without issue. If you’re looking for G-Sync just out the extra for the G-Sync version and you won’t be disappointed. Now if you just wanted it for a work display this one is very nice.
