This is a really nice doll. It's well made and it should last a long time. I don't recommend for 1 or 3 year old's. I bought this for my 2 granddaughter's who are those ages. They love to brush hair so I thought they would enjoy brushing these doll's hair. I even gave them brushes. They brushed the dolls hair once. The first thing they did was take their clothes off and leave them laying on the floor. They can't figure out how to put clothes back on and I guess naked dolls are okay with them. All of their dolls are naked even though we have tried to teach them to not undress them because it's too hard for them to put them back on.These dolls are perfect for an older child. At least 4, maybe 5 years old. I can't say one negative thing about them. The clothes are well made too. Their mom put their clothes away until they get a little older and can dress their dolls themselves. For now they just play with naked dolls and it doesn't seem to matter to them. I highly recommend these dolls for a child 4 or 5 years old and older. Money well spent.

When the doll arrived, I was immediately blown away by the quality. The hair is amazingly soft and thick; so great if you have a kid that likes doing hair styling! Mine did come done up with two pigtails, but the hair laid totally flat when I removed the bands.I also love how the limbs are so moveable. My daughter has a Welliewisher doll, and we've had to have it replaced three times this year because the leg joint keeps breaking, and that doesn't seem like it will be an issue at all with these Glitter Girl dolls.Super impressed!
