Don’t hesitate to buy!! It works amazingly well.
Amazing results! I have been restoring an old saddle and during the process, the leather of the saddle darkened into a rich mahogany. The old suede seat was originally a golden camel color no longer matched the saddle. Finding this product, I ordered the mahogany shade and used that to put one coat of dye over the camel color. It turned out SO GOOD and the seat now matches the restored leather on the saddle! I highly recommend this product. Easy to apply with the wand that comes with the bottle of dye. It just could not be simpler and the suede still feels soft after application.

IT COULDN'T BE ANY BETTER !
Fiebing's Black Suede Dye (4 oz) was purchased during august of 2023 for the price of $9.98 plus tax. the product is now available for the price of $9.89 plus tax (December 16, 2024).The shoes upon which the dye was used were new. However, the coloring seemed to be a bit faded...not as saturated as I would have liked them to be. Although I have never gone through the process of dyeing shoes previously, I really wanted to enjoy these shoes...so I took a chance after watching a few YOUTUBE videos. The process of using the Fiebing's Dye was as straight forward as one would hope, and expect. The only suggestion is to be prepared before beginning as to avoid making a mess of the application, or accidental spillage. The most important aspect of obtaining the best results is to follow the instructions. After having done just that, the results were superlative. The color saturation that I desired was immediatrely appparent upon completion. The most important thing about the process is to make sure you have a suitable suede brush in order to release the nap of the suede after the dye had completely dried. If, for some reason, the saturation of color is not to one's satisfaction, it wouldn't be outside the realm of suggestions to apply another coat of dye.I'm thoroughly satisfied with the results of using this product. Howver, I can only attest to the results of having used the Black dye. I have no idea if similar results would be obtained with the different color dyes that are being offered by Fiebing's. Nonetheless, Fiebing's has an excellent reputation of offering quality products. It would be worth the effort to take a chance on the spectrum of colors offered.

Easy to use. The color was consistent.
Really good stuff. It came with a little brush and it went on well. The color turned out a very dark brown, which is what I wanted. I recommend.

The color transfers
I had high hopes for this dye. As you can see it works great! These shoes were grey and very worn out but now they look brand new! Unfortunately I noticed after, 2 days left to dry, I went to wipe the white parts and noticed that the black was coming off into my hands. I then rubbed some parts with a dry paper towel and the color was coming off. I don’t think all the color will come off ever but it isn’t completely permanent after it dries.

Good stuff
This product works wonderfully! I made sure to watch several instructional videos about proper application techniques before using it, and it was perfect for reviving my black Uggs. The results were exactly what I hoped for. Just a heads up - there are definitely some specific techniques that make a big difference in getting good results, so I'd recommend doing some research on application methods before you start. The effort is worth it though!

Must wear gloves, stains hands
The quality is very good. I bought a pair of shoes at Goodwill and I wanted to dye them. I bought RIT die. It didn’t do what I wanted so I bought this dye and it did a better job and the quality is not small at all and the color quality is awesome. And it’s very easy to use.

works but color is off
I used this to dye a suede bag that was showing some wear and tear. It worked well, was easy to apply, and came out pretty even; however, the color is not “light brown” way more of a rust/orange color. Not sure if I want to try a different color over top or just go with it.

Amazing! Much better than anticipated and saved 2 pairs of shoes!
I ordered 2 pairs of Ecco shoes for my husband and unfortunately, they were much lighter than expected. The first pair, he wore a couple of times but the second pair were brand new. I had meant to send the second pair back, but time slipped away and soon it was too late - sigh.Ecco's are pretty nice and not inexpensive so I hated for them to just sit on the shelf - which is exactly what would happen! And I can't blame my husband because I didn't really like the light color either. These are not smooth leather. I guess they would be considered suede (?) or nubuck maybe? Anyway, I thought that trying to dye them would result in a splotchy mess! Reading online, articles indicated the need to strip the existing finish....and that's where I lost interest! Finally decided to just go for it! What did I have to lose? They weren't going to be used as they were anyway. Checked a couple of products on Amazon and settled on this one. So glad I did!The pictures show the results!FIRST PICTURE: The shoes that had been worn a few times. I didn't have a brush, but I used the edge of a knife to "scrap" the shoe to try to remove any dirt and raise the nap. Seemed like a good idea! I don't have a "before" picture of the new, unworn shoes but they were the same color/style/brand.SECOND PICTURE: This is the after of the new shoes after I dyed them! Looks pretty awesome, huh? I love the color. I used dark brown dye, but they seem to have a bit of a red tone which I really like - kind of like cordovan. They look even better in person!THIRD PICTURE: This is the pair that had been worn (I remember to get before/after pics!). Again, super pleased with the results! They also look even better in person than the picture.
