Exceptional Performance for Coffee Lovers!
I couldnโt be more pleased with this DeโLonghi grinder โ it has truly transformed my home coffee experience. From the moment I unpacked it, the build quality just stood out: the stainless-steel blade assembly feels robust, the transparent bean hopper lets me monitor the process easily, and the compact footprint fits neatly on my countertop. Grinding performance is excellent. Iโve been able to adjust between fine for espresso and coarse for French press with ease using the cup selector, and the results are remarkably consistent. The 120g bean capacity is ideal for prepping several cups in one go without over-grinding or wasting beans. I also appreciate how the lid locks securely and the container pops out cleanly for quick emptying and cleaning. Coffee flavour has noticeably improved. Fresh grounds mean more aroma, better crema, and a richer taste in every cup. Whether Iโm making a quick morning espresso or sharing a pot with friends, the grinder keeps up and delivers reliably. Maintenance has been straightforward too. A quick wipe of the hopper and blade container after use keeps it clean; no mess or fuss at all. The power cord wraps neatly underneath so it doesnโt clutter the counter. Overall, this grinder offers superb value. For anyone serious about their coffee, the DeโLonghi KG79 (ASIN: B002OHDBQC) is a smart investment and exactly what I was looking for. Five stars without hesitation!

New machine and does not turn on.
I just bought this product and was very excited. I used it to grind my coffee beans three time an now it stopped working. Its a brand new machine and it does NOT turn on any more. The repair guys said something is wrong with the motherboard and costs more that the price of the machine to fix it. My excitement has turned into complete dissappointement with Delonghi. I highly recommend not buying it. You would be lucky if you face no issues.

Useful, convenient and consistent.
I was very skeptical about this product due to the mixed reviews but I am very thankful that I purchased it. It's smaller than I thought (good thing) It's fast It's not as loud as some had described Perfect for a family. We make between 15-20 cups a day and noticed that the cup selection is perfect (two cups for two people, if you want it stronger, just turn the dial to 3cups and you will a lovely freah strong coffee for two). My teenagers use it too and have said it's one of the best electronic gadgets in our Kitchen. The only downside is that the grind is not fine enough for a portafilter nor does it have a portafilter holder. We love it and are happy to recommend it.

Excellent!
I am so obsessed about my morning cup of coffee that I go to, what many consider, great lengths to achieve perfection. I buy my beans immediately after they are roasted, usually preferring Ethiopian Sidamo beans. I have been manually grinding my beans and use a V60 pour over for more than 6 years. Now as long as it's just for myself that's all well and good but when I have a guest, let's just say the manual grinding becomes a chore! So I've been on the look out for an electric grinder and for this price this is absolutely a bargain! I paid more for my manual grinder! Ok so there's a little static which makes a little of the grinds spill on the kitchen counter but so what? It's a small price to pay. The grinder looks great on my worktop, has multiple settings for how fine the coffee gets ground (I use a setting betweenmedium to course) and it's quick. It's kind of noisy but that doesn't bother me. All I care about is whether it grinds consistanltly, and it does! Oh and you'll never see anything like this in the shops in Dubai. Here all you get is either the manual grinders, the really awful blade grinders or super high end grinders that cost upwards of $400!!.

Great for medium to coarse
I'll have to agree with the vast majority of reviews.. this is not for fine espresso grinds. For everything else, it's pretty good - once you get used to dialing it in for your particular taste. It's a bit loud but for the price, it is more than forgivable. I would recommend picking up some cleaning brushes too to help keep it in tip top shape.

Not Worth the Price or Effort
At around AED 150, this grinder initially seems like a great deal for beginners looking to grind fresh coffee at home. However, after using it for over a year to make V60, I strongly advise against purchasing it. This grinder is an example of poor-quality design targeted at consumers looking for affordability. The outer build quality is subpar, with cheap plastic materials and poorly made buttons and dials. The motor is excessively noisy and underpowered, and the burrs are exceptionally bad. The plastic catch box is poorly designed, creating a lot of static electricity that causes coffee to stick to its walls, making cleanup frustrating. In terms of performance, this grinder is severely lacking. Its burrs and motor produce inconsistent grinds, with big chunks of coffee and lots of fines, regardless of the grind setting. The grind adjustment dial is narrow, with large jumps between clicks, making it nearly impossible to achieve the desired consistency. Among all the grinders Iโve encountered, this is by far the worst in grind quality and consistency. If you're considering this grinder to start grinding fresh at home, I suggest reconsidering. Grinding fresh coffee is indeed important, but not with this grinder. If youโre on a tight budget, I recommend opting for a high-quality hand grinder or buying freshly pre-ground beans from a local roastery in small quantities for better results. This grinder will only lead to frustration and subpar coffee experiences.
