Beautiful Babies: The Art of Reborn Doll Making

This is a beautifully photographed book which addresses many aspects of reborning, including assembly, painting, rooting and detailing. I was also very impressed to find a section with instructions on how to open eyes in vinyl and three pages regarding ethnic babies. Additionally, there is an extensive list of suppliers with detailed photos of the various products.This is a beautiful reference, and would also make a lovely gift or coffee table book.

When I received this book I was rather disappointed. It has been produced in very poor quality with poor quality photos and no clear instruction for newcomers to the art of reborning dolls like I am. A very expensive book; especially for what you get. I have watched a dvd on reborning which was much better than the book and I thought the book would give me more basic facts which it didn't.Also, one of the pages has been repeated within the book but then the book is very amateur in the way it has been put together and then printed. Don't waste your money.

I was disappointed as the techniques in this book were outdated. It was also pricey for the size of the book.
