I've always loved wearing birkenstocks and was looking to purchase a new pair - found these on amazon at an excellent price, they fit perfectly, arrived quickly and I'm so happy with them! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to take care of their feet - birkenstocks give excellent support to your heels, the arches of your feet and they protect your toes too. Birkenstocks come in narrow fit (which I take) and normal/wide fit so make sure you look for the correct fit for you, in the description. If you are a half size like me I would recommend going down in size (I am a 4 1/2 UK size and I ordered a 37 which is a size 4uk).

I bought these thinking they were a dark red, but they are a very bright red, almost an orangey red. Needless to say, I am a little disappointed - I only hope they darken with wear. Everything else about them, the fit etc., is good. Would I buy them again? Definitely not in red, but maybe another colour. They are, however, as all Birkenstock, very comfortable.

Its winter and I am still wearing them around the house! I bought these for my holiday to Turkey, back in May. I wanted a sandal that was very comfortable, easy to wear and would not heat my feet up. I made a great choice with Birkenstock. Once you have worn Birkenstock you won't buy anything else. Unfortunately my children have tried my sandals on and now want a pair each! I would suggest that if you do buy these for your holiday, wear them for a few weeks before you go to get used to them. After that you won't want to take them off your feet!
