I love this book. I used it when I was a Cub Scout leader to take the boys on hikes. I first tried the hikes with my children, then took the scouts. I appreciate the insights on each hike, what to look for along the trail, the time of year best to go, how much time to expect on the trail, level of difficulty, etc. I have since purchased more copies to give as gifts to parents of young children so they can explore beautiful places together.
