Well made, I am about 2/3 into it, really, really taking my time to not finish it too fast. The colors are bright and vivid. The canvas I have is tightly sewn and sewn closer than what the drawing shows, I cannot to the black border around it. I begun by the tail and working my way up in horizontal lines. So my first line began with the golden/yellow instead of the all black, Instructions are easy to follow if it is your first one. Came with two hooks, I am using the plastic handle one, the wooden handle one is a bit too big to fit in the canvas. I’m using the chart to follow the colors order, not the colors painted on the canvas, it’s easier to see and not make any mistakes. I also use my iPad to take a photo of the line I’m working on, so I can zoom and see better how many yarn I need of each color, one wrong number of black and I might have a deformed dragon..the back feels rubbery, I guess if you intend to use as a mat, it won’t slip, I’ll hang mine on a wall so it’s fine.

This is probably the best material I have ever used with a hook rug. The canvas is well printed, well sewed with a pretty border. The back has good material, and almost feels like it has gripping capabilities so it wouldn’t slide. The yarn isn’t corse and doesn’t snag and fray. It’s made of soft wool almost. Easy to use and comes with a numbers color card with diagram! Best $20 I’ve ever spent! Was delivered next day also! Will be buying more! Thank you so much!

Enjoyed making this. Mine didn’t look as distinct as photos here, but it was close enough when I finished

The set was quality and clear to follow, but the yarn colors were so similar you cant tell them apart. There are actually two color blues in this but you can hardly see the lighter one. The yellows are also very close so i opted to subtitute extra yarn i had to add some contrast where i could.

I love how bright and colorful the canvas is, you don't need to look at the pattern at all.

I started doing latch hook to give my hands something to do while listening to audio books. This is my fourth kit. I'm looking forward to seeing what it looks like when done, but this one requires more concentration than the others I have done because the colors printed on the rug do not necessarily match the yarn color. I assume they did this because there are so many colors nearly the same and they wanted to show the difference more clearly.
