I have bought 3 of these now and my primary use was to block the sun out in the heatwave in June from the back of our house. Our kitchen is southwest facing so the sun sets right into it and it is like an oven, especially when cooking.They just about fit the whole area of our french doors and instead of sticking the blind on to the glass I turned over the top to make a sort of hem and slid an extendable curtain rod through and hung them from wall to wall. I just bought some cheap double sided sticky tape to make the hem.I even went to the trouble of cutting all the suckers off AND the velcro strips to make removable blinds for my grandson's bedroom window at night time as there are 2 very narrow windows in the room and there are already venetian blinds there. Taking the suckers off and unpicking the velcro was easy and made the blinds less bulky.I find this much easier than sticking to windows. I think the blinds are really good quality and very good for blocking out full sun, let alone summer evening daylight. I am super happy with this product!

Tried this as was having trouble sleeping due to street light outside bedroom windowAfter a few minutes sticking it to inside of windowThe room was nice and darkSo dark in fact i couldn't find my way to the bed without the light onIt's a great product works really well but i had to stop using it as i could not get used to the room being that dark

Despite cleaning windows as suggested - soapy water - several suction cups are reluctant to hold fast. This means that the blackout fails suddenly without warning, as a corner falls. I think Velcro on the window frame will provide a more reliable fixing. It’s a shame the suction cups aren’t more unreliable

Really easy to use, strong suction, makes my babies room pitch black even in the middle of the day.

At first the curtain fell down when attached to the window but when we tried moistening the suction cups with a little water before attaching it stayed up all night. The Velcro pleat feature works well and they are certainly effective at blocking out 100% of light.

Fell down, won’t suction to the window or upvc. Complete waste of money

We already have a smaller different version. This seems to work even better.Good size (it is difficult with different size windows) but used it for holiday and visiting friends / relatives for when the little one needs a nap. Does the job well so far.Will update in a while after some good use.

Wanted to love this as my toddler needs a black room to sleep and we travel. It doesn’t stick to any surface though. Not the glass on the window, not the wall surrounding the windows. I have to use duct tape in order to it to stay up. And at that point, I could have used a blanket or trash bag or anything else to make it dark. Not worth the money.

The suction cups don’t stick very well. We often have to reset it.

Bought 3. The suction cups don't work! They keep falling off the windows over and over no matter what I do. Light also seeps in around all the edges at the pleats. If I could get the fabric tight that might not be an issue, but again, the suction cups won't hold at all!!

I’m so confused by the consistently high reviews for this. The suction cups are AWFUL and the velcro is very weak in creating pleats. Maybe it’s our windows, but light sneaks in around the entire window too. I do think it’s great to have as a backup during travel, however. Overall, not very happy with it.

Please do not waste your time or money on these. The suction does not work AT ALL. I never write Amazon reviews, but I felt it imperative to let other people know that these are a terrible product.
