Cartridge Filter Kit for SoClean 2-2 Pack

I have had a SoClean for over two years now and I absolutely love it. Every night before I put my mask on I wipe it with a cleansing wipe and I only wash it about once a month (if it needs it or not). This is much better to me than washing the mask everyday and trying sit it someplace safe to dry.That said, I want to tell you how much difficulty I had when they changed the size of their check valves. There was no explanation on Amazon or on the product package but suddenly the new check valve I ordered was smaller. When I tried using it in my SoClean the tubing just slid off. After contacting customer service at SoClean I learned all I had to do was trim the stretched out pieces of injection tubing and it would work fine. And it does. A lot of frustration that I hope I save you.Great product!

The filter inside of the unit fit perfectly for both my SoCleans. However, the inline check valve assembly ( two male ends with one end going to SoClean and the other end to machine) were too small in outside diameter to fit into the existing hosing (female tubing). They appear to be half the size of the previous inline filters I had received. I requested the Seller to please replace these 2 check valves and we would be good. To date it appearss the Seller is ignoring this email. BEWARE tTHE INLINE CHECK VALVES DO NOT WORK, ORDER DIRECT FROM SOCLEAN TO RECEIVE CORRECT PARTS.

UPDATE: I contacted the seller and SoClean. The smaller filter is actually INTENTIONAL. You need to put a fresh piece of tubing onto it. If you need it, SoClean will send you new tubing. You will also need to cut the long tube (coming off the machine) to get rid of the oversized bulge from the old, bigger check valve. If you are in a rush (and don't want to wait for SoClean to send new tubing to you), you can trim a few inches off of that tube to use on the opposite side of the check valve.Even though the check valve feels looser (because it is thinner), it has held up just fine. I have a SoClean 2 (with a serial number starting with "1200SC" (which the packaging states is the version it is to be used on). However, despite this, the check valve supplied with this device DOES NOT fit my machine (see included photo for a comparison - the one supplied is of a much smaller diameter). I bought this a month in advance so I'd have it ready, only to open it and find it WON'T WORK with my machine. Now I am stuck with the wrong part because I am outside of my return window.I would NEVER buy from PureProducts again (and I left a seller review to that effect as well).

After apx six months you should change your SoClean2 filter to maintain it's optimum operating status and to ensure that your masks are cleaned properly. I love my SoClean 2 machine but the check valves were defective but I did not know it for sometime. I thought my CPAP machine was over heating and I was waking up with dry mouth and not feeling rested. But in was dumping water onto my carpet where I did not notice. I lost water and pressure. I love how easy the so clean is to use. I have used this from the beginning of using my cpap. When I first received my cpap they told me to clean it with a vinegar solution. Ugh the smell was nauseating. I ordered this was in heaven no nasty smell. I reorder my filters when I put the last one in. They last about 6 months, the so clean machine will tell you when to change it. Being in healthcare you would be mortified to see how some folks will not clean or change their filters, then wonder why they are frequently sick. I have recommended this machine and it's filters to every cpap user I come in contact with simply because of ease of use & keeping your cpap clean and sanitized. Where my Cpap goes my so clean goes.

They work and they are made by the company. Trustworthy! I really want to know for sure what I’m breathing in and out all night is healthy. Be sure to read reviews on the cheaper (not Soclean) brand filters about people getting sick!!! I’m all about saving a buck but....
