Item description has waterproof written all over. 20mins in the rain on its first outting and the misses starts to feel cold on her back. Came home to find rainwater dripping inside and had soaked through the inside of the coat.

Ok, the good thing is that the raincoat looks exactly as I wanted it to look and has the rubber sort of look/feel. However I wasn't aware it will be plasticky inside as well. I was hoping for textile material. As it is- it's great for rain- it dries of really fast, bit it's so hot because of the plastic feel inside. Change that and you have a winner!

Very happy that I purchased this coat. It is ideal for rainy spring days and is waterproof on walks. The nautical style is nice and cheerful with a striped lining in the hood and contrasting white zip and buttons. The material is not thin and is substantial. I chose to buy a size bigger than my usual to allow a thick jumper underneath so I can wear it in autumn too. Arrived early too.

Lovely fit. Very weatherproof but could have been slightly longer to keep rain off your legs.Good quality item.

Did the job in keeping me dry. Did not like the hood but overall nice jacket.

I love the colour. This rain coat is a perfect old fashioned type. It is very effective at keeping the rain out although if warm or humid it can get quite warm wearing this.
