Great Belt!
I recently bought this belt as I needed something sturdier for various reasons. The material is thick and seems well made. It is comfortable to wear for extended periods. I really like the buckle part which also feels very sturdy. This belt feels like it will last awhile.

Good product with some drawbacks
There are things about this belt that are great: once you find the adjustment you want it will not loosen up, it is thick and sturdy so the gun doesn't move or sag, it looks good, and has a good adjustment range. There are some drawbacks that are in many cases a result of the pros.Finding the adjustment I wanted was tricky at first - I found I could buckle then draw the tag end tight and Velcro it down, this trapping a belt loop. I go back and forth between carrying a firearm and not, sometimes several times a day and it is hard to find a place that is comfortable with a gun and snug enough without one. This may come down to body type, pants size, size of gun etc.It is stiff. So stiff that the gun won't adjust upwards to make sitting more comfortable (appendix). I think the stiffness is more of a positive however. It is thick - again, a positive - but some of my spare mag holders won't clip and hold.Nothing is perfect, but altogether this belt is a great value.

Undecided? Buy two!
Ok, first, the people that say that you should up a size when carrying a weapon are absolutely right. The Velcro reaches all the way around my right side to within two inches from my spine so shortening is not only very feasible, it would make the belt even stiffer. If the pandemic made you fatter than ever and you are working on sending that fat away then down a size also has plenty of velcro to hold onto the belt until you are back to normal. What happens if the velcro gives way? nothing, the buckle has a bar that holds very well, I made the experiment. If you need to pull it out of your pants fast, forget it. However, the buckle does go through the loops in nice jeans (as opposed to "work jeans" built with the expectation of a thick belt and plumber's crack) and dressy shorts; this was fortuitous, the khakis made by the same people probably have the same loops. The buckle is not made from "recycled rodeo buckles" or "slices of anvil" but if you are not looking for the buckle to serve as an improvised hammer or stop a bullet then you will probably be fine. I did not choose any of their other belts, particularly, the "rigger's" belt because it should not take more effort to open the belt than a regular leather belt; this belt takes far less effort to open. It will not open on its own or by accident but it is nice to open and close without either effort or worrying about pushing the belt back through the loops.I would not want to carry a real kukhri or a 10 mm 1911 with this belt --mostly because of the opposite side pull-- but an EDC knife and a compact carry sidearm would be perfectly ok. In so far as carrying the sidearm inside the pants, I cannot speak to that nor would I carry in that manner. That being said, this belt is as stiff as a high quality leather belt so I would not expect a problem unless you soak it in fabric softener. When I first ordered this belt, I was worried about seatbelt+car wreck = open guts but it feels better than either the previous nylon or the leather that came before that.I could have used a tan one, at least, in the field, back in the late 80's and early 90's but these days, I need brown, black, and green; get me the colors and I will be buying two of each --as insurance against someone changing anything! In as much as possible, "Made in The USA" drives my choices and is the ultimate deciding factor. This belt is made in China but it must be made by the people who make Macs in their spare time because --at least, the one I got-- feels like it will stand the test of time very well. The one "con" that I feel needs to be pointed out is that the buckle cannot be replaced at all. I can imagine wearing out the little "horns" that "buckle" the belt LONG before the belt shows any wear.

Everything I expected with high quality craftsmanship
The title basically sums it up, couldn't ask for much more, especially for an EDC belt. The clasp works great, the mechanism is right when engaged and doesn't rattle or anything. The velcrow strap allows for a very wide range of precise sizing, so you aren't stuck choosing between two sizes that are either too big or too small. It's incredibly stiff in all the right ways, I could see someone ignorant to the needs of a carry belt saying it's too stiff making it somewhat difficult to size, but it's more than accommodating regarding sizing while axtia6lly being stiff enough to hold up weight all day while remaining comfortable. Once I got the size dialed in, I didn't have to pull my pants up once (I think we all know the dance of always having to readjust sagging pants with an unsatisfactory belt). Rarely if ever do I give anything 5 stars, but I'd say there's a 95% chance I buy another in the future when the need arises.
