We've never done Epoxy-Resin before, so we wanted to try it. I looked at a lot of other kits, but this one had everything I needed to get started, except the mold itself.I liked this set very much.Pros:+ Comes with all you need to get your first pour (except a mold).+ Our molds all came out clean, crisp, and solid (and this was our first try).+ There were bubbles, but after a few tries, we got the hang of it, and not so much, anymore.+ Came out of the silicone mold very well.+ Could hardly see the lines between pours, unless you held it up to the light just so.+ Could not feel the lines between pours at all.+ Dry/Cure time was a bit long, but heating up one part of the mix sped that up dramatically.+ Practically no smell. We still did it in an open garage, with fans on, but at least it didn't stink.+ Washes up with rubbing Alcohol - easily (though plan on trashing the cups, etc, not worth trying to save them.).Cons:+ Long stir time. It says 3-5 minutes, but we found it took 7 min to get it really mixed and clear.+ Measuring cups were fine on the ounces side, but the backside gives 2 different measurements, mixed together, so watch out for that.+ Did not adhere to my plastic-egg decorating project. Ran right off. (Hence the pink pyramid - so as not to waste it.)+ Lots of bubbles after 7 min of stirring, but we found that heating one part in a hot water bath helped a lot with letting the bubbles go, and made stirring easier, too.It also cured much faster, after we started heating the hardener in a water bath - taking dry time from 24+ hrs, down to about 4 hrs to 'hard to the touch'. I still didn't dare unmold it until the next day, but I probably could have. It felt really hard, and not sticky at all.We found that the pyramid's top edges needed a bit of work, because epoxy rides up the sides of the mold the same way water does, leaving a sharp ridge when dry. First, I tried to shave it off with a box cutter, but that requires a really steady hand, which mine aren't anymore. Then, I tried a big straight file I have, and it worked wonders. I angled it, so it only touched the very edge, and it brought that ridge down to a smooth, straight edge in no time. (Under 5 minutes, on a 6" hollow pyramid, inside + outer edges). No more worries about getting cut, and she sits flat as a pancake. Very nice.Overall, I loved this stuff. We had a blast encasing various items, and when my adult children heard about it, they wanted to try it too. I just bought 3 more, one for each of them, and another for us, cuz we're out! Hubby is hanging by the door, just waiting for it to come. He's half way through his next project, and needs more. : )TIP - I will say be careful of your base color. Hubby used dark gravel for his base, and everything looks very dark, despite being clear epoxy resin. The Pyramids refract the light so much, whatever color it sees, is the the color of the pyramid. My pyramid is hollow, so there is no base, other than the table you set it on, but it has the same issue, if it's sitting on a dark table. The light really brightens it up, which is why so many folks have lights in theirs, I'm assuming. I saw a white base online, and it really shows the clear resin, even with a colorful suspended flower inside. I'm going white base, next time.

First of all, I loved the price and everything you get in the kit. I have tried several brands of epoxy and this was by far the BEST! Little to no harsh smell and the dominoes came out fantastic. Great for beginners and no harsh chemical scent. I will definitely be ordering this brand for now on!!

I love the resin. Great product, fast curing time. Only problem I have, is that it says it comes with 3 pairs of gloves. This is the second time I've bought this bundle and neither time it had any gloves with it. That's my only negative feeling towards this bundle. I have gloves so I'm not worried about it, just wanted to let people know that it doesn't have em with it, and if they are needing the gloves that it says should be with it, don't count on it. Buy some gloves from Walmart or something. Nitrile gloves are the best imo.

This is one heck of a great price for a kit that contains this many products. I just figured the mica powders would be in tiny packages but they aren't. You get a ton of product in each packet and the colors are beautiful. The resin bottles are 35.2 oz! You can't buy 35.2 oz of resin many places at this price. So not only are you getting the resin you are getting all of the extras. Wonderful package. Would highly recommend!

Shipping was super fast! It is a great bundle of supplies to get started on your resin project! My green glitter had busted, but that is the way of glitter, on a plus though it stayed inside the package the glitter was in. The mica is beautiful and I am so happy to have a red red and a lovely light pink! I haven't used the resin yet, I will update this if I have anything worth mentioning! (Aka if I have a bad experience or trouble with anything) so if it is updated then assume it went great and as expected!

Fist time using epoxy. This was easy to use and seems like a great value.

I have not used this product yet. When i opened the bag it was in it was leaking. Everything in the box was wet and sticky ish. Baggies and cups. However, it comes with A lot of stuff that i am excited about. Well worth the price if it isnt leaking in the box and all over everything.
