I think it's the best mini router of its class. Although my data sim card supports 5G cellular networks, I am still using this 4G router. The newer Huawei 5G mini router is too heavy to carry around. Not nearly portable as this 4G router.

Un petit boitier avec la traditionnelle qualité de fabrication Huawei, il suffit d'une carte SIM, et hop, vous surfez en 4G, jusqu'à 3 ou 4 fois plus vite qu'en ADSL, vraiment très efficace, et çà capte super bien, surprenant vu la taille de l'appareil. Je recommande ce routeur pour les nomades et ceux qui ont une mauvaise connexion internet, à condition bien-sûr d'avoir une bonne couverture 4G.

I purchased this together with a Tesco 4G sim. Inittal tests worked well at 4G. Next morning there was no data on 4G (despite showing full 4G signal) but 3G still worked. Over the next weel I contacted Tesco several times but the problem was not resolved. I found the "contact seller" link on the order and within an hour or so I had a reply from them, and next morning a phone call from them taking me through the correct network settings for Tesco Mobile. Although not a problem with the hardware, they were able to do what Tesco were unable to and get me up and running. Thanks Mitchell from Live Wire. One tip which makes life easy is to log on to the device using a laptop. The i/p is 192.168.8.1 and it is admin / admin or it may be admin / "your wifi password". I have been using it for about 2 weeks (on 3G) and the battery seems to last a good 12 hours. Hopefully at 4G the battery life wil be similar.
