I have a Universal brand vintage pressure cooker that I had used for many years, but the O-ring deteriorated. I didn’t know where to get a new one. I came across this one on Amazon and ordered it . I am glad I did because it is a perfect fit for the lead..

I asked Hawkins specifically about which gasket fit the Classic 5 liter wide mouth and they responded quickly which was good and I ordered the specific one they sent me a link to. Problem is that the gasket was was too big and did not fit at all. There is no clear answer indicated on the Hawkins site and apparently Hawkins doesn't even know what fits their product. If they send me the one that fits then I will give them five stars but this one did not fit at all. Hawkins needs to put a clear size chart that pertains to the products they sell. I wanted to use my pressure cooker for thanksgiving and now I won't be able to. I would give you zero stars if I could because for now all I have is a paper weight.
