Modern Innovations (16 Inch) Stainless Steel Metal Magnetic Knife Holder, Wall Mount Double Bar with 8 Hooks - Multipurpose Knife Magnetic Strip, Utensil hanger, and Kitchen Storage Rack Magnet

We've searched for a knife bar that actually hold knives in place, and this one is great. I tried three or four other brands that claimed to have "the strongest" magnets, but none were able to match this one. With two separate bars and super strong magnets, this bar is able to hold even the biggest knives in place - no tip overs or slight movement once they're on the bars. We're careful to place & remove our knives by turning them on & off kinda like turning the page of a book, and not sliding them. Installation was simple and easy. We put very small strips of clear plastic "bumpers" around the mounting areas, to help prevent too much marring of the wall surface. In the first picture, you can see that the knives basically cover up the mounting areas. The last picture shows the mounting areas with the knives scooted over. We bought a few speed rails from webstaurant for (a few) of our spices that we use regularly, and made a nice grouping on a small wall space in the kitchen. Spices come from Spiceology - amazing stuff / highly recommend.

Perfect item, especially for the price. Exactly the size, strength, and efficiency I wanted, especially w/the provided hooks - I can intersperse hanging utensils between the magnet-affixed knives and scissors, which stick like glue. If I had any criticism at all it would be the weird way, only at the outer-most ends of the rack, that the hooks want to twist parallel to the magnet - but only when placed at the very extremities of the rack. As I decided I don't want utensils or towels hanging next to a corner anyway, where they would get in the way of something else, no big deal; the rest of the hooks placed along the bottom of the rack work brilliantly. Magnets are strong and hold equally all the way to the edges of the rack. Only took 2 screws & anchors (provided) to put up; had it up in 10 minutes.

Looks good and so easy to install. It took 5 minutes max. My only suggestion, bigger anchors and screws should come with it. Luckily I had some and used instead of the ones that came with it. I would reccomend.

This is a good, strong magnetic knife rack. It easily supports the weight of all my knives and has a sleek look. I will not use the hooks - grasping for dangly objects hanging amongst sharp blades doesn’t seem wise. The screws provided were not suitable for mounting the rack on wood even though the directions says so. I assume they would be adequate for wall-mount.

I bought this for our camper. We just completed a 2 1/2 month road trip and and everything stayed on the rack while driving. I am going to buy another one for my kitchen.

As I said above, be sure what you're buying for. Why, because if you're going to use it to hang pots and pans then you'd be wasting it's primary purpose and that is to hold knives. I bought two of them and use both for holding the many and numerous knives I have in my kitchen and not having all those knives stashed in a drawer is great as I have in the past cut myself trying to get a particular knife from the pullout drawer I have them in. I have better the 20 knives of all assortments and this rack keeps them available by their handles only and holds them all very well.Ms Pariks

Well made pleasing appearance. Easy to assemble

Wanted to get my knives out of the block. The magnets are strong, and I love the little hooks.

The knife holder hasn't been installed yet because I need to retile the wall where it will be mounted. Nevertheless, I'm impressed by its weight-bearing capacity. I conducted a thorough test, examining its ability to secure not only all of my knives but also various miscellaneous metal objects, just out of sheer curiosity.In a somewhat unrelated note, I was rather surprised to discover that some of the items I expected to be attracted to the magnet simply weren't.The accompanying hooks were an added bonus. They seamlessly integrate with the utensil rack where I store my kitchen tools, significantly improving the organization of my kitchen.Given that I have a number of knives in my possession and also because I'm done with my unsightly knife blocks, the decision to procure another one of these holders was a no brainer. It's particularly appealing when compared to my roommate's holder, which can't withstand the weight of heavier knives and they tend to fall – a situation I'd rather avoid, especially when it comes to knives.
