OK for the money
Ok, first of all, i'm not a baseball player. Never was, never will be. I bought these to cut my lawn. Keep reading as there is a method to my madness. My new house has a very steep hillside that is to steep for my tractor and must be cut with a push mower. I was constantly sliding down while wearing running shoes or other boots. So I asked the community on a lawn forum how I should be cutting my grass. Almost everyone told me to get a pair of baseball cleats. So I did. They work great! Now for the shoe review: As someone else stated in another review, these shoes do NOT have a tongue like a regular shoe. They "slip" on like water shoes. This does make them difficult to get on and I will have to dig out a shoe horn as it will make it much easier. They do have a decent size finger loop on the heal to help. They also have laces, which kind of lace up oddly from behind the heal (maybe all baseball shoes do this?) They are somewhat tight as one may expect as they are made of that stretchy stuff that water shoes are made from, but not super uncomfortable, although I don't know if I would want to wear them for the length of an entire ball game (but hey, that's just me) I wear a size 9 and ordered a size 9. I don't know if a larger size would let my foot slide around, but this is the risk taken when ordering on-line. They do seem a bit tight in the width, but again, I'm just an old guy that is using them to cut a part of his lawn for 10 minutes. If I were buying these for my kid to play ball in, I would go to a real store and try them on first, then order.

Excellent Cleat / Good Support
Our 14 year old son finds Adidas cleats to be more comfortable than most other major brands. He has suffered from heal pain in several other cleats, not Adidas. The cleats look great and hold up well under use. Yet to wear out a pair of Adidas cleats, he just outgrows them.

Can't even get foot into the shoe!
These are very odd cleats, I have never seen anything like them before. The tongue is not separated from the rest of the shoe, so you can't "open" them up to put your foot in. If you have ever worn water shoes, it's like those, where there is just the round opening you slide your foot into. That may work for stretchy water shoes, but it does NOT work for baseball cleats. My son could not even get his foot into the shoe to try it on, and he has an extremely narrow foot. I'm not sure who these will work for?!
