Totally Awesome Chair…..with two suggestions
This is the second one I’ve bought. It is really easy to operate, very comfortable, and reasonably priced. I read a post dated July 9th by Sureshoe on this chair and took his advice and have a bit more to add. First, Sureshoe suggested tightening the screws some to prevent the nut from coming off. Great idea. Now, add to that some LocTight/ thread lock compound to the threads exposed as in pic. This will add to the probability of the nut staying on. Second, I took some 3/4” foam pipe insulation (3/4” hole and about 2” in diameter), made a slit along the slit line in the foam tubing and cut four 5” pieces to attach to the corner bottom braces so as to buffer the hard ground or ground irregularities. By protecting the braces this way, the plastic is less likely to wear out or crack. They are attached with two zip ties. Next, I attached about a 20” or so piece of the same foam pipe insulation around the lower part that comes up to meet/hold one’s feet. The pic shows the three zip ties I used…..with…..the pulled out tabs for tightening the zip ties facing downward away from where my legs/feet will rest. Now the chair is, imho, perfect. It rests on padding not wearing out the plastic corner braces, has padding for my feet, and the nuts are more firmly set and less likely to loosen up and fall off. I have owned many of such chairs for camping, porch use, and for hours of sitting at car shows and these are simply THE best I’ve come across. After a while with the “pool noodle like” foam pipe insulation, I replaced them with a denser foam pipe insulation and put a rubber tape on the bottoms to protect the insulation from an abrasive ground. The cheaper pool noodle type foam tended to pop/crush real easily causing me to redo with the denser pipe insulation. I also double rolled with pipe insulation the foot rest so there is no digging into the backs of your legs when resting your feet/legs on it. I used 3/4” ID for the covering of the metal leg piece and 11/4” ID to go over the first covering. Using the next size bigger allows for a more thorough wrap on top of the first. Btw…..when I put the foam on the bar prior to the zip ties, I put rubber cement on the metal bar and the inside of the foam so as to prevent free rolling. I also used rubber cement on the outside of the first foam and on the inside of the second foam all prior to doing up the zip ties. See pics 4-7. This did not take too long to do and is well worth the effort. It also does not cost much to do. Both my chairs have been working great and my long legs no longer get that “dug in” soreness after resting them on the double-padded foot rest while napping in the chair on my porch. Well…..spring is almost here, and my wife decided she wanted one of these too. Yep….I ordered a third chair and got it today. It came quickly and had no damage. I put the lock -tite on the 4 or 5 nuts on each side and it’s ready to go out to the screened in porch soon. Just thought you might like to know that my buying a third one means I really like these. After all, my car show chair (lots of sitting) did half a season last year just wonderfully.

Great chair!
This chair is awesome. I’m using for back pain relief and in these circumstances, it is actually more comfortable than any sofa or recliner because it is perfectly firm. Once back pain is gone, this will become my go-to chair for outdoor seating! Super lightweight but feels sturdy at the same time. it’s larger and wider than I expected, which makes it more comfy. One improvement I made was adding pipe insulation around the bottom bar where your feet rest. Folks with longer legs will appreciate something under their ankles in the zero gravity position, but I wouldn’t say this is a flaw with this specific chair, just the design of every chair like this one.

Great (wider) chair at reasonable price
BCP offers the most colours to choose from, by far, and we like this "sky blue" very much. The only thing we'd like to mention is, the crossbar under the seat section, it hit every time we sat on it (and -- No, our weight is not over 300 lbs, or even near that), don't know if it's supposed to be like that, or whether the bungee cord that strung the seat fabric to the frame wasn't tight enough? Or maybe they are too close together, between the crossbar and the (fabric) seat section? But it's still ok, just have to be careful when trying to sit on it, not sitting on it too harshly, so not to land our butt on the crossbar.... Ouch! The 160° maximum reclining angle is actually better than the one we bought that advertised theirs would extend to 170°...... So, sleeping on this chair is better as far as feeling more like sleeping on a camping cot. We also like that this chair is wider. The extra 4" wider over all does make a difference and feel better too, more room and more comfortable. We actually sent back the same kind of chair because it's only about 19" in the seat width and overall frame width of only 25.5"..... many are sold at the same price as this one but of smaller size (as mentioned). This is a much better deal, get a wider chair with many colours to choose from at a reasonable price. Highly recommend this chair by BCP. We are thinking of getting another one.

Comfortable comfortable comfortable
COMFORTABLE! We love these chairs, so comfortable. Sitting outside for hours enjoying the evening and still very comfortable. The look very nice, no real assembly, adjust easily with many choices since you decide where to set it. They are very stable and durable, easy to transport and they fit easily into our RV.

Comfortable, sturdy, good value
This is the first zero-gravity lounger I have ever purchased, and I'm completely satisfied with it. Comfortable, roomy, sturdy enough to hold my sizeable self plus a small dog and a weighted blanket. Folds away for storage, fits in the backseat of my car for easy transport, and I love the little cupholder tray with spots for two drinks, my phone, a couple of books, my Kindle, and more. A completely surprise bonus was that it is exactly the size to fit with this heated massage mat thingy my husband got me for Christmas a few years ago, so on the super cheap I have a functioning zero gravity massage chair!

Easy now big fella
EDIT ONE YEAR LATER: I’ve gone from 4 stars to 5 since nothing of note has failed and the reclined-position clamps are a little softer but still workable. The fabric and elastics have withstood the Arizona sun and heat and dryness. And the cushions are still about 60% as plump as new which is reasonable for the price and Chinese origin. Only trouble has been that a lock nut silently came loose producing a sudden slump and ominous cracking sound which turned out to be just plastic slapping plastic. So it was off to the hardware store for an M6 locknut since I’d lost the one that came off. So a bit tedious but as you can tell I’m in love with this chair. And finally the arms of the chair, being made of Nylabone-like material, are excellent chew toys for our other love. See pix. EDIT ENDS This lounge is comfortable and easy to carry and unfold. And to my relief there was no assembly required at all. And it’s sort of sturdy as well — I’m 5’11” and 188 lbs. It’s also attractive (I got the grey and brown or whatever). And at a good price. So far it’s 5 stars. But here’s the catch. There are at least two weak spots that could kind of spoil your day. First is the thin-ish elastic cord that weaves back and forth between the grommets on the seating fabric and the metal frame. If the cord gets abraided from the load-unload cycle of sitting down and getting up, then, when the cord ultimately fails over time the whole side of the seating fabric will fall at once. This could give you a good thump in the pants and maybe an hour of DIY weaving and knotting and still be waiting for the next failure. The other thing is the clamping setup which allows you to recline to any desired angle from min to max and then lock in place. The clamp feels like it will slowly lose its grip so the chair may rock instead of staying put over time. All told I really like this lounge and will just treat it gently so that my old body will fail before my new favorite napping spot does.

A DEINITE SAFETY CONCERN FOR ME
My weight is under the maximum rating for the chair and the chair visually appeared that it would support me easily. However, while sleeping in it for the second time in the zero gravity position, which is most comfortable in this chair. I awoke in the night with the back of my head hitting hard against the floor (using it indoors to ensure that I can use it when traveling) and with my right shoulder hitting the frame of the chair (later caused a large bruise in that area). I didn't know what happened, and at 75 years old I struggled to get out of the chair because of my semi-inverted position. After getting up I noticed that the backs of both plastic armrests were torn from their mounts and both mounting bolts were severely bent; bolts that attach to the lower and upper sections of the chair. With that happening, the entire upper half of the chair broke free from those mounts and the upper half of my body tumbled to the floor. My right shoulder was also bruised when it came in contact with the tubular frame with the forced of my body ramming downward against it. After seeing the damaged ends of the armrests and bent mounting pins that supported that upper section, I understood that was why this happened. It's a flimsy mount, poorly engineered by loading up the main back support by using 1/4 inch bolts through plastic. After careful inspection, I noticed that the locknuts on other bolts in the chair were loose, as if they were never tightened fully (the chair comes fully assembled). I thought that maybe the company wanted more freedom of movement when tipping the chair back back, so perhaps they didn't tighten them fully. There is also an issue with the braking mechanism in the chair with the looped-locked finger controls that put a tab into a grooved slot to lock. This is also plastic and it could have caused this near catastrophe to occur had it failed to maintain the lock while the chair is fully back. When the chair collapsed, the inside bolt holes in the frame tubing itself were ripped open, leaving only the outer holes left to support the upper rack, which in-turn gave way causing the upper deck to lose ALL attachment to the base, and fall. I have since rebuilt the chair with sturdy materials and mounts and inserted a new STOP bolt to keep the chair from going too far over-center and collapsing the upper rack the way it did on mine. I don't trust the finger locks the way their designed. I hope the company will take a look at the whole design and re-evaluate their engineering to make the chair sturdy and safer than what it currently is. Anytime someone is leaning back in a zero gravity chair, their safety is highly dependent on the bolts and attachment to the base, plus the unit should have a robust locking mechanism to keep the upper back support from collapsing all the way backward the way mine did.

comfortable and well made
A few issues at the beginning with our order getting lost. But having contacted the seller he fixed the situation promptly and resent the chair. Received the replacement quickly. The chair is great and my wife loves it. We will order a second one soon from the same company.
