the bag smells owefull so i had to return it back and get a refund

I just received this today so this review will be based on initial impressions. This bag is really beautiful. I'd read the positive reviews before buying it but had to see it in person to believe it was this nice for only £38. As anyone knows, a bag of this size in genuine calfskin for that price is unheard of. Whoever says this isn't genuine leather though doesn't know what they're talking about, because it smells very strongly of calfskin and looks and feels like real leather--believe me I know my skins! The wine red colour is stunning, and subtle enough to match with any outfit for daily use. It's a bag big enough for all of my sh*t and believe me, I have a lot of that. However it's not too big as to be unwieldy or hard to carry. I plan to carry my laptop, planner, documents, and personal items in it for work and travel. The two shorter straps are even adjustable for the perfect shoulder bag, but I also love the long strap for cross body wear. And the compartments! So many useful little compartments on this thing! An open slip pocket in the front, a more secure zip pocket in the back, a middle zip compartment, a phone pocket, a card pocket, another little inner slip pocket and two hidden interior compartments on either side. I can't wait to make this my go-to bag for everyday use. Five stars!

My bag arrived today and I am super happy! The leather is soft and supple, the colour is amazing, it's a great size and I can fit all the rubbish I carry round with me in it, I have to carry a huge amount of medication with me so I need room for it all 🤭😂 but it's not so big, it's annoying. It really is a beautiful bag and the price is fabulous too! I'm so happy with this purchase, I'd recommend it to everyone!!

Ce sac est vraiment beau. Il fait bien la taille annoncée 38 X 30 X 10 cm . Il semble bien coupé, bien cousu, et solide.Il semble être fait de croûte de cuir, mais elle est enduite d'un film plastique. Je souhaitais un sac en cuir car cela permet, lorsqu'il est usé, râpé ou a de petits accrocs, de lui redonner un coup de neuf par un bon cirage. Mais là, ce n'est pas possible à cause de ce film plastique. Dès qu'il sera râpé, cela se verra beaucoup sans qu'on puisse y remédier. J'ai raclé un peu avec un ongle sur une partie intérieure non visible, c'est fragile. J'ai aussi découpé un petit bout , c'est bien du plastique dessus, qui est élastique et qui brûle. A noter, qu'en regardant bien, on voit les "dessin"s identiques se reproduirent régulièrement sur le sac.Quand à l'envers, cela semble être vraiment de la croûte de cuir car il s'effiloche difficilement, comme du cuir.Je ne trouve pas qu'il sente le cuir, mais il ne sent pas mauvais. Son odeur est d'ailleurs faible.Du coup, bien que ce sac soit beau et bien fait, je retire 1 étoile car je n'aurais pas payé presque 50 euros si j'avais su qu'i n'était pas cirable, et donc rénovable.J'ai acheté ce sac il y a pas mal de temps, mais ne l'avais pas utilisé. Maintenant, après quelques semaines d'utilisation, je peux affirmer qu'il n'est pas en cuir. Je mets des phots d'usure. Ce qui parait être du cuir sur l'envers est ... je ne sais pas ce que c'est. Ce qui est sûr, c'est que la matière est principalement de la mousse recouverte de plastique ( "cuir" PU), et enduit sur l'envers de pelure de matière qui ressemble à de la pelure de cuir... en tout cas, rien qui puisse être appelé cuir. Et je pense que cet envers est fait pour tromper les gens. Il existe des "cuir" PU de meilleure qualité et qui ne se font pas passer pour du cuir.Je retire 1 étoile . Je laisse tout de même 3 étoiles car ce sac est beau et plein de poches, mais jamais je ne l'achèterai pour 50 ou 60 euros

As soon as I opened the poor packaging of this bag the smell of plastic was quite strong. Under normal circumstances I would have returned this immediately, but after some thought I decided to keep it as an everyday bag. The ONLY reason being that I loved the style and colour. Bells should have rung when it was coming from China !!!!!! As mentioned above this is not leather.

My title is not a mistake, this is a truly beautiful bag, the colour is vibrant, it was too small for my needs, check the size before ordering, I was tempted to keep it just because it's absolutely lovely.....I was encouraged to send it back if you get my meaning 😉 no hiding this one....
