Works good !!
Awesome!! I tried dead stretching my 16g septum with the 14g jewelry in the photo, did not work. So, I bought this taper and was able to stretch my septum in maybe half an hour? or less! I have seen people online say that it is easy and painless to [dead] stretch from 16g to 14g, but it was painful and stung for me! My septum might not have been pierced in its sweet spot, so this taper was perfect for me. For others, it might be worth trying to dead stretch in case you dont need to buy one. It's a standard taper, but the one I bought has a screw at the end for internally threaded jewelry, and it fit perfectly and I was able to screw it in all the way! I think the taper starts at 20g then ends at 14g. I stretched my septum in the shower with just hot water, and I was able to go halfway before it began to sting. Then, I just kept going under the water and pushing it in little by little. It was a little difficult to put the taper in initially, since it is a straight bar and you have to move it under your nostril/nose, but I had no problems with washing my hair and showering while it was still in and poking out. The jewlery also stayed on the whole time. At the end, I'm not sure if it was the jewelry or the taper or maybe where they connect, but it felt stuck. I had to push harder to put the actual jewelry through the piercing hole. Overall, amazing and really worth it!!!

Lifesaver for my nostril piercing!!!!
Firstly, I want to share this tip (and the reason I ordered this) because it may have saved me from a horrible injury: With the possible exception of earlobes and eyebrows (ok, I’m now re-thinking the eyebrow thing now), I strongly recommend wearing press-fit jewelry, or any type that does NOT screw in, lock in, or otherwise prevent immediate removal in case of accidents! The other day, I was exhausted, went out to my car, and…opened the door on my face🤦🏻♀️!!! Not my most brilliant moment, but I’m grateful- I ended up with a gushing nosebleed, but still, yay- I didn’t break my nose. I didn’t notice until an hour later that the force from my door took out my nostril stud- if it had been a threaded piece, I could have injured myself much worse- that’s when I realized that press-fit is the way to go with most, if not all of my piercings. Ok, review time! This tool is a LIFESAVER! Ok not literally, but it made my day go much easier. The last time I had to insert a press-fit stud, it involved jewelry pliers, bending my nose at strange angles, and over an hour of my time. Not fun. I ordered this tool the other day out of frustration with my klutzy experience, along with feeling too darn sore to deal with a game of “let’s blindly find the inside of my nostril piercing site again!”. I want to hug the person who invented this tool. Best thing ever. Although it’s not super easy to use inside my nostril, I had success within a few minutes. Because I couldn’t find my inner piercing site at first, I inserted the thinner end of the tool into my piercing from the outside and slowly pushed it through- still required a little bending of weird angles, but it wasn’t difficult- if you find it impossible, there’s another tool that can help if you have difficulty with this, called a piercing tweezer- I think! Or it's called something very similar, my apologies that I can’t remember at the moment! Inserting the tool from the outside helped me remember the exact angle of my piercing and helped me locate it again a moment later, when I inserted it from the inside (with my jewelry attached to the end- this is the most genius thing since sliced bread, a definite 10/10 on my YAY scale!). It did take me a second to locate the piercing spot from the inside, and yes, more weird bending of the tip of my nose, but not bad at all- it was much easier to find because remembering the exact piercing angle helped me visualize and remember where it should be. A few seconds later, my jewelry was in, I pressed in the top of my stud, and I was done! Still sore from my car door being such a jerk, but resolved nonetheless. I SO highly recommend this tool, and if using it for a nostril or septum piercing , maybe order some piercing pliers/tweezers/whatever they’re called as well, depending on the shape of your nose along with your tolerance for weird bendy angles. Lastly, I can’t stress this enough: wear press-fit or other jewelry that doesn’t lock in your piercing, at least with cartilage piercings!!!! Also, look out for car doors when you’re tired, especially if you’re klutzy like me🤣! I’m now re-thinking my eyebrow jewelry as well, and I’ll be thrilled to have this tool when I insert my next piece, which I think I’ll go ahead and order after I finish this! I’m glad I learned this one the easy way, and shared this in the hope that I can help prevent others from ending up with a bad injury- you never know when your car door’s going to take out its rage on your face!🤦🏻♀️🤣

They are perfect and work as intended
Absolutely perfect, my regular ear lobe piercings shrank after having hoops in with really skinny post and I couldn’t get regular sized earrings in. I used both of these needles at the same time to slowly stretch them back out to standard size again over the span of maybe four hours and then I was able to easily get regular earrings in again. I 100% recommend these to anyone with my issue or anyone that just needs a little bit more help getting piercings in.

Super cool!
I got this because it was cheaper and it ended up being pretty good quality. The size is perfect. I am using it to insert my 14g septum and it’s helped me a lot. It’s long and super easy to use. I love it. If you have trouble shoving your jewelry in, consider getting this insertion taper.

Overall good but jewellery doesn't thread into it
I wanted a way to get threaded earrings into my second earlobe piercing. All the threaded jewelry is 18g-16g at the smallest and my piercing holes were very tight (only 20g would fit through). I used this taper to stretch my piercing hole and help insert my new jewelry. I had to go VERY slow and used steam plus lubricant during the process, which took about 3 hours for each ear (as I stopped any time I felt pain and let it sit a bit). It got the job done and I'll continue using it any time I need to change the jewelry on my left ear, which is not pierced straight making inserting jewelry on that side difficult anyways. One thing to note is that I thought I'd be able to screw the jewelry into the taper but that is not the case. The very tip of the large end is hollowed so it sets into it very slightly but doesn't stay secure and the threaded end of the jewelry remains exposed during insertion. Overall good product that did what I needed it to do. Only thing that would make it better is if I could screw my jewelry into the end so the threading doesn't aggreviate the piercing hole during insertion.

Helped me reopen my tongue piercing after 13 years
So this was a bit of a journey. I decided I wanted my tongue piercing back after a little over 13 years. I could still see the hole, but the middle part was definitely closed. I watched some YouTube videos on it but it was pretty much just people shoving 14g tongue rings in and I was worried that could cause nerve damage or some other unfortunate side effects. Also, I didn’t want an angry tongue for a week. I figured something like this would be a more gentle way of doing it. I initially bought this in a 14g, but it was pretty painful to try and get through. It’s not the pain that I mind but I didn’t want to cause trauma to my tongue. So I bought another in a 16g and decided to just go to a 14 after a month or two. I had to push pretty hard at the very end to get it through but once I broke through that tiny bit of skin it slid right in. I’m excited that when I stretch to a 14 the recovery time will be minimal. I like that you get one with a hollow end and one that’s solid. The solid one is a bit smaller obviously so I used that one to reopen the hole and the other to feed the barbell through. I would recommend this to anyone trying to reopen a piercing or stretch a difficult area. I have minimal swelling, no blood or anything. Just does a really good job of reopening a piercing while causing minimal irritation.

Nice
Good quality! It’s quite small and easy to loose, but that’s not an issue unless you’re like me and loose everything 😭
