This is the best flat iron I have used. I only use it on dry hair. I have naturally curly and extremely thick hair. I have spent a lot more on other flat irons and didn’t get the same results. The price of this one is so reasonable. I have purchased two of these just to have as a back up. So happy to find a flat iron that works this well!

This is one of the best flat iron for African American hair. I could not believe how straight my hair was after my first use. Oh, and also the first flat iron that I'm aware of that can be used on wet/damp hair; of course I towel my hair before using. Lastly, I used about a quarter size of swauve frizz/heat protection leave in conditioner on my damp hair before flat ironing my hair, which worked very well, at least for me.
