Really Excellent
I've only been taking Toniiq's Lion's Mane capsules for a few days, and I already am noticing a difference in my mood, focus, and overall health. I have anxiety, depression, and suspected adhd, so this is a big help because actually helps ease my executive dysfunction. I actually took a walk and showered all before breakfast this morning!! I haven't done that since High School! As an added bonus I found out that Lion's Mane helps with stomach ulcers, which I'm suspecting might be the cause of bouts of heartburn I've had lately when I drink coffee. I'm really quite impressed with the potency and quality, as I've tried a couple mushroom supplements in the past that had Lion's Mane in it, that really failed to make much of a difference. These ones however are perfect, there's actually enough fruiting body in the serving to be effective. They're also perfectly sized to be easy enough to swallow one after the other. I usually have trouble taking multiple pills/vitamins at once, but these ones are pretty easy to knock back. If you've ever taken a massive fish oil or anything of the sort, you'll have a pretty easy time. They also don't smell or taste gross like a lot of other supplements do. It's also on the cheaper side regarding mushroom supplements, so I'm quite excited to have seemingly found my holy grail!

Boosted mood and focus, brief jog into the astral plane
For the 6-9 months, I had been taking 8:1 Lion's Mane from Nootropics Depot (ND), so this will be a bit of a comparison. I felt the good mood effects, focus, et cetera from ND, but I wanted to try a different brand for price and composition. I have taken one so far (along with L-theanine, and alpha-GPS/uridine the previous night), and I'm positive I'm going to continue and re-buy. The mood effects were just as palpable as the ND, perhaps a little stronger. I wound up taking a nap, and had a very intense lucid dream, which usually doesn't happen to me. It was quite pleasant. With Lion's Mane extract overall, I am a much more evenly-positive person, and I can focus on tasks for hours without difficulty. It doesn't have the same stimulant effect as caffeine for me, so falling asleep is no trouble - perhaps even easier due to the reduced stress. Check with your doctor blah blah blah, but I strongly recommend this, especially if you deal with focus issues, anxiety, or depression.

Did not improve TN symptoms
I purchased this to possibly treat my Trigeminal Neuralgia, as several of 'us' have seen nerve improvement with it. It did not help me (actually made it worse) however, I believe the product was of advertised quality, easy to swallow, easy on the digestive system, and no side effects for me. Good product that may work for the next person!

Clear Your Foggy Brain Now!
Good product. I bought it a few times already. The only thing is they are a bit expensive for the quantity, thus only 4-stars.

Effective
Today is 5/22/23 : There’s a significant difference between Toniiq’s and the replacement one from Double Wood’s. Both work but I’ll explain briefly. The replacement one helped enough for me not to revert to my ADD deficiency but… it did not have the same effectiveness as Toniiq’s, I did not experience the same benefit that I described below. I thought it was a waining placebo but I was wrong. Prior to running out of Double Wood’s version, I ordered Toniiq’s. I was pleasantly surprised that a quicker shipping was available this time. I ordered it and once I took them after exhausting the replacement one, that same positive effect happened again! Go figure. I felt great today! But you all know how some Amazon sellers bribe you on the side with little gifts, coupons or discounts. I was not contacted by Toniiq so this isn’t an advertisement on their behalf, just an honest review. Oh and about the taste. Some reviewers said they tested awful, perhaps a bad batch? To me, it has a mild taste like toast but it doesn’t bother me. ———————————————————————— April ’23: I tried Lion’s Mane (Toniiq), the first two to three weeks I didn’t notice much until I started my new job which is in an office with computers doing tech support. The last similar job I lost it due to my ADD. Regardless of my medications, I still encountered the usual symptoms of confusion and disorientation. I’ve been taking two medications, the second one I had just started (after job loss ) and maybe a week later is when I started taking the lions mane. When I started the new job I was just more than halfway finished with the capsules so let’s analyze this: Previous job- Because of my symptoms I had a hard time learning the new program. Despite reading the procedures every day that I was there, I felt lost often as well as drowsy. Current job- This one also has the same system as the previous one so I dreaded and feared having to go through the same thing again. But something weird happened. While I started training I recognized almost everything that I had seen from the previous job, including the program, what each process does and other aspects. I’ve NEVER experienced anything like this in my life . The first two weeks in the new job I felt very competent, something I rarely feel. I kept thinking that it was just the two meds kicking in but unfortunately, as I was ending my second week I ran out of the Lion’s Mane. I proceeded with my life towards the third week and the end of the third week which is when I’m writing this. Gradually through the week, my mind started to feel foggy again to which today I made a small blunder to a customer’s account. I’m still training so I let my senior coworker know so he could revise what I did thus correcting it in the end. After I noticed this I almost allowed myself to fall in despair because I don’t want to go through this like last time again. Conclusively I came back to the seller to order it, but I see that the shipping speed is too slow at the time and I won’t get the product until May. I canceled the order and went with another seller with the same type of product which will hopefully arrive today. I can’t risk waiting for this seller to finally send it over a week later. In a nutshell it’s a pity that the benefits of Lion’s Mane are only present with continuing doses. According to scientists, Lion’s Mane has been observed to aid in growing new neurons. But once you stop taking it, does it mean that those neurons it helped grow die off???

Not good if you have bipolar 1
I am giving this product 3 stars because it is of high quality and is helping other people in my household that could use lions mane but as someone who has always taken lions mane since I can not or rather do not want to attempt to microdosing for my bipolar 1 with rapid cycling - this is just too high of a dose and really messed with my meds. I truly believe in the power of mushrooms- I grow them when I can (it’s a bit difficult in humid/hot Florida) and I saw this lions mane as an upgrade to what I had been taking in the past. I used it for 2 months - every morning and noticed that my mood which for the most part had always been stable begin to - well - not be. I started to become more agitated and slip into maniacs. The only thing that had changed was my lions mane - not my diet, stress levels or medication- not even the weather. I have been off the lions mane for about 2 weeks not and I’m starting to get back into my normal groove again. Yes it could have been a fluke but I have been stable for almost 10 years, so I’m not so sure - but I wanted to give caution to those living with this disorder- I still think lions mane is great - and will be going back onto my old version- it’s a lower amount. I think in the end, everyone needs to find out what works for them - but just a forewarning. For everyone else - it’s a nice hood mushroom stink, they are a little bit larger than what you might be accustomed to from a mushroom vitamin and my family member who has memory loss from a TIA says her short term seems a bit more clear - not fully there but not as hazy. She says after 2 months it hasn’t done anything for her long term or helping her with getting feeling back where she has some nerve problems - but hey - you never know!

It definitely improves recall ability
I saw a lot of people posting how the taste is bad. The taste and smell are very mild and smell/taste a bit like actual lion's mane mushroom. There is no chemical smell or taste so I'm not sure what any others are talking about. Since taking this I've noticed a marked improvement in my ability to recall things and my speed of thought. The improvement is more noticeable than I had anticipated (I had thought it probably wouldn't make a difference but felt I'd give it a shot anyway). There is some sort of mood stabilizing effect I feel. It doesn't make me feel joy, sadness, or anxiety. Rather it seems to feel like I'm more stable (hard to explain). It definitely decreases anxiety for me a bit (nothing extreme). Overall I like this and will be getting more before I run out.
