There is no better way for a specialty coffee drinker to start their day than with a fresh brewed cup of pour over coffee. The aroma is invigorating and can wake you up without even taking the first sip. The cup that is produced is clean and grit free, leaving the coffees nuances to be discovered. Most people think they need to go to the local coffee shop to have this kind of a cup of coffee, but now with our pour over system you can have it before you leave the house. A cup can be brewed in 2.5- 3.5 minutes and the clean up is simple. You can brew it into the included pot or your favorite mug. Skip the lines, save some money, and enjoy excellent coffee!

Simple, Fast, Fresh, & Hot -- Love this drip coffee maker!
I don't know about you guys but I HAVE to have my coffee in the morning before work. I buy fancy creamers and superior coffee so I have something to look forward to and to help get me arse outta bed. I succumbed to the trend and bought a stupid purple k-cup coffee maker that didn't even last one year (see photo). I also had a lower maintenance french coffee press, well, 2 or 3 of them and something always breaks and they end up useless trash. So, without having to rely on electric crap, I crafted a coffee maker hack of a plastic funnel, half of a paper towel and a beaker full of microwaved boiling water is what I have been using until I found --- The Purple Tractors Coffee Pot! I seriously wish I had found this a long time (and a lot of hard-earned cash gone) ago. Ok, with that said...I really love my Purple Tractors Coffee Maker! I didn't get instructions but do not really need them. It is a pretty simple set-up. I boil about 4+ cups of water- I have my mug prepared with creamer and then pour the first brewing directly into my mug. Then I put the remaining water into the filter and leave it to brew into the Purple Tractors carafe, while I enjoy my first cup. That is how I get around the small carafe size. Works like a charm for me and I get 2 large mugs of fresh coffee. The three holes in the dripper makes it fast too which is very much appreciated. I always had to microwave coffee made in the k-cup maker, was never hot enough. Now it comes out not only super fresh and tasty, but steaming hot. I can compost the filter and coffee (even though I always used reusable k-cups, the non-reusable k-cups are horrible for the environment), and rinse and put away for the next day. Every so often I wash it on the top shelf of the dishwasher. It is small so it is perfect for a household where only one person drinks coffee or for small spaces, like an RV, or camping. I saw in the "Q&A" section that someone stated the dripper cannot be used over a coffee mug. I beg to differ. I have a lot of different sizes of mugs and the thought never even crossed my mind. Fits fine on a variety of mugs. Trying to think of some cons but the Purple Tractor Coffee Maker suits my me and my lifestyle just fine. Others may not like the small size, but I do.I received a discount on this coffee maker for testing and review. Getting a discounted product does not effect what I say, I describe the positive and negatives of my experience based on my experience with this product. Overall, I liked it very much.

Cute little pour over brewing system
This is my first pour-over style coffee maker. I'll point out some things I like and some things I would prefer that it had.I like that it came with filters to use with it so that I was able to be certain I was using the proper ones.I like that The Purple Tractor emailed me detailed instructions in a PDF because I'm noob.I like that the pour over part can be used over the included little 2C pot or directly over a cup of coffee. That being said, since I can brew directly into a cup, I don't think the pot is a necessary inclusion. The adjustable stand is cute. I can use just about any height cup I want on the stand. The raised stand base holds the included pot or your favorite cup steady while your coffee brews. The pour over part is made of a heavy plastic. I don't think it's going to wear out any time soon and over a week's use, it's not showing any staining. I am mildly concerned, going forward, that the inherent slightly porous nature of plastic may end up trapping residual coffee oils/flavors between brews. It's perfectly functional and inexpensive enough for your first foray into pour-over brewing. It's compact enough for travel. Since this little system is lightweight and doesn't require electricity, I can see taking this camping.I received a discount on this product in exchange for my unbiased review. My opinions are my own, regardless of any discount received. I welcome any and all feedback.

Didn't make that great of a cup even with a gooseneck since it ...
Plastic stand deformed after two uses, kinda defeating the purpose. Gave it to a friend who case a replacement out of sturdier material and it seems to be working for them. Didn't make that great of a cup even with a gooseneck since it was always hanging at an angle.

But I would like it to be a glass so I don't feel ...
I was excited to receive it, but when it arrived the first thing I saw was a plastic cup which actually brews the coffee. It really looks cute and size is right. But I would like it to be a glass so I don't feel any taste of residue after multiple brews. Shipping was fast and packaging was accurate though.

A nice little coffee maker for when you need a single cup and want it super fresh.
I really like this coffee maker and the fresh cup is great in the afternoon. I do wish it had just a little bit larger capacity so it could completely fill a travel mug, it fills mine about 3/4 of the way. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the coffee was, much better than an auto drip coffee pot, and comparable even to my French press. The stand is sleek looking and very sturdy, the glass carafe is a decent size - more than a standard cup size, not enough to fill a travel mug or larger mug. The filter basket on the top is plastic, but it doesn't feel "cheap" it's a decent quality. I place about 1/4 cup of my fresh ground coffee into the filter, maybe slightly less. Pour boiling water over the top and it drips down perfectly through 3 holes and this really does make a difference in evening out the flavor. I was skeptical, but now I'm a believer.I have tried a couple of different coffees in here now and have enjoyed both very much. It's a nice touch that a packet of number 2 filters are added to the package. A good filter really does make all the difference.Overall this product meets my expectations. The price point is not great, but it's reasonable. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.I received this item at a discount in exchange for a fair and honest test/review. I rely on reviews myself when making purchasing decisions and strive to be thorough and accurate in my own reviews.
