African Wax Printed Cotton Fabrics Ankara Cloth Vibrant Colours 6 Yards Craft Making (Red Core)

This is a truly beautiful quality fabric spoiled entirely by almost impossible to remove labels - 3 of them 3”x5” spaced right down the centre of the yardage! Plus two additional sticky labels to close the layers of selvages. The labels pull the fabric and remove top dressing where they do come away, leaving a deposit of glue on the fabric. If I use a glue remover like ‘sticky stuff remove’ will more of the surface of the fabric be lost, will it bleach or damage the colours? How do I remove the remaining paper & glue without further damage? I love the fabric but in total dismay at the appalling labelling! Hence the lower rating.

This is absolutely gorgeous! Very pleased with it. Haven’t washed or ironed yet. Will update when I do.The only sticky bit is how to remove the labels without leaving anything paper behind?Found out how... iron on the fabric side and label peels off but I still have a sticky residue.Washed in cold water, it’s come out nice and soft but still has sticky marks. Any suggestions?

Liked the vibrant colours of the fabric. I prewashed it at 30 degrees and it retained the colour and the fabric stayed in shape. I dried it in the tumble drier, as it's too rainy to line dry at the moment. I then ironed it, it ironed easily and the shape of the fabric was intact after drying. The only bad thing I have to say is that there were a number of sticky labels attached to it which I had to iron on the other side of the fabric to remove, they came off easily, but a sticky residue remained afterwards. It is still a bit sticky after washing, but I am hoping it will disappear after a few washes.

The material arrived in good time, and in good order/packaging. Like previous reviews the label was a bit sticky but a very mild washing up solution wetted into a damp cloth soon got rid of the residue. I am not sure why the labelling for the product is like this, there must be a reason...perhaps security to their genuine cloth. I will buy again.

This is lovely fabric, BUT the sticky label BIG problem, yes as stated on the web page, iron on the back side of label and the label just falls off, it dose just fall off BUT IT LEAVE A STAINED AND STCKY MARK that dose not come of. Please can the manufacture do something about that problem. Spoils a great product.

I love this fabric, I've had 3 orders of it now, it's staggeringly beautiful, delivery is prompt and it's excellent value for money, I'll be ordering more soon. The only thing I don't like is the great big sticker on the end of the piece that's not removable without marking the fabric so I lose about 25cm from the end, but it's such good value it's not really a problem!

This fabric is amazing, I am going to make cushion covers with it & if there is a decent amount left over I will make some pictures to hang on the wall. The fabric is such a vibrant colour it will cheer everything up in a normally dull room. Also the price is very reasonable because it's a thick material. Love it!

What can i say?When i opened my package, the colour, the texture.?muahhh!!so glad i bought this for the price i got it for.The quality is superb.Can wait to make the outfit and step out in it.Will definitely be buying from this seller again
