The Way of the Templar

This is a valuable resource and like all the books written by this author, I will likely revisit it many times in the future. I saw the one star review written earlier and understand the point that he is making. My thought on this would be that this work was not designed to be a text book or for those that do not already have a working knowledge/understanding of the content. Being fortunate enough to know the author personally, I accept him to be a credible expert on the subject matter. As such, I would have found structuring this as a purely academic work to be tedious. There are many other books out there promoting a pet theory based on some blend of source evidence and conjecture. It was not my opinion that the author of this book was attempting to sell a concept that would require such an approach.

Hogan does it again. Another fantastic publication. If you have interest in esoteric teaching, Gnostic thought, Freemasonry, Templar tradition,or things of the like, you will not regret getting this book. It's a pretty fast read at just over 100 pages, but don't let that discourage you, it is packed with usable and applicable knowledge. This book will be a useful reference book in any study and a valuable tool for the quest to turn our knowledge into understanding......

Another great work from Brother Tim Hogan, if you are serious about a spiritual life and clear path read this book and all of his other books.

Good Stuff

I was gifted this book, along with The 32 Secret Paths and The Alchemical Keys as a present for the holidays this year, and as an avid reader have already finished 2 out of 3, including his latest ,The Way of the Templar. I can admit that I was a bit skeptic at first being pretty unfamiliar with much of Timothy Hogan’s background prior, but I found myself enthralled with his knowledge on these mystical subject matters, and found myself unable to put them down! With his proven background, it is nice to read something that someone with true knowledge of and not your typical conspiracy theories presents. From this manual, I have found myself taking a step back, and reflecting on my own journey.I have since done a lot of research on him personally, and found many lectures that he has done, and was really intrigued to see that he travels around the world to promote not only the truth in his books, but also peace around the world… I found myself personally identifying with being a Modern Knight Templar just from reading his book, and I would recommend all Timothy’s books to anyone that wants to really know from someone who is on the inside about the truths that are held, instead of the conspiracy theories created from those not involved.I did go back to read the reviews after already having read this book and did see the 1 star reviews, but I would beg to differ on the authenticity, after reading more of his body of work! I cannot wait to go back and re-read this book again after reading all the rest of his books. This was by far the best present that I received this year, and a worth it investment for anyone, I mean anyone, that wants to learn more about anything mystic related!!!

Disappointing. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Proof in the form of original documents, referenced source material, in short good scholarship. With out those things its no more than mythology at best.

Will be definitely reading other books by same author. He has a wealth of knowledge

A great book by Tim hogan. Ties in great with his lectures and many radio interviews on the subject!A realistic and quantified approach. You will enjoy.

This book is another milestone just as the author’s previous books were, e.g. "Entering the chain of union" and "Alchemical keys to Masonic ritual". It details some Templar history you won't find in most books as the author’s sources and knowledge of the subject are unrivaled.Timothy Hogan is the current Grand Master of the Ordre Souverain du Temple Initiatique, and is President of CIRCES International in conjunction with it. He comes from an extensive background of working in Templarism, Freemasonry, Rosicrucianism, Martinism, Alchemy and many other esoteric Orders and traditions.Also the book’s title was chosen very well, as it not only refers to the historical aspect but also to a Templar’s individual path. I really recommend it!

Alles Bestens gelaufen. Das Buch ist wirklich zu empfehlen wenn man Authentisches über die Templer und ihre weiter Entwicklung erfahren möchte. Nicht nur der Propaganda nach plappern möchte.
