Seems effective
I bought this because I'm probably paranoid and concerned that radio waves from my smart meter and router may be affecting me. I tested its effectiveness by wrapping a phone in it and ringing it. The signal wouldn't go through. There's ample material provided. I was able to shield the area between smart metre and wi-fi router and my bed in the room above. The material is conductive so you can ground it using a drawing pin and a length of wire to a suitable earthing point. A strip cut to fit my wallet adds privacy to my various cards too.

Item not as described at all
Item not as described at all. Does not shield, block or reduce RFID or any other radio signals any more than cotton does. We even tried triple layers on several devices but no difference. Return & return was very complicated.
