I was quite impressed with these.- The stands themselves are thick, a little heavy, and sturdy. they expand up to three times and I'm guessing up to a max height of 8-10 feet.- Each piece has it's own case, the soft-boxes have their own black bag, while the bulbs and the stands come in individual boxes, which are in the original bag. this make its really easy and organized yo pack them up and go, without unneeded extra effort. The bulbs themselves even have styrofoam cases inside the boxes for extra protection.- they are very easy to setup, I think I had one full light up, and working, in less then five minutes, and I have never set one of these up before.- the softbox "fabric" doesn't feel cheap, although the prongs are very similar to say, an umbrella, so I'm guessing they could bend easily if not taken care of well.- power cords are long, but not ridiculous .. I'd guess about maybe 3-5 feet

Nice lighting kit. It's not dimmable and it uses CFL bulbs instead of LEDs- but I knew that when I purchased it. It works great and provides good, natural light. We don't even break the set down, although it is very easy to do. We just tuck the lights in a closet and pull them out for filming.

I was looking for a slightly more powerful lamp, but I settled on these just for the ease of use since I would be setting up and breaking down somewhat often. These softboxes literally pop open in 10 seconds, it is SUPER easy. I can setup both stands and boxes in about 4 minutes. WOW. Light output is good, but like I said I wanted a little brighter. Color is excellent though. I think I will replace the 65W CFL for a similar size LED that would put out a lot more light. Can't go higher than 65W CFL though, so beware trying to plug in a 105W bulb!! Overall a great buy, I hope they last!

These are a good quality in every way. I wish they had dimmable bulb bulbs however. The stands are nice and sturdy. I like the swivel head on the mount. The light quality is nice as well.

The 2 light stands are very portable and come with carrying bags for everything. Safety foam packages for light bulbs too. They create very bright light which is great for photographs.

This is a great and easy to use produce. Just a shout out to the suppliers. When I inboxed months after I received the product, one of the soft box covers was missing. I reached out to them through amazon and NO QUESTIONS ASKED they sent me an entire new soft box. I was so impressed. I can’t promote these guys enough. For me customer service speaks volumes. Thank you.

I used these on a small video production for an information video on an educational program offered by a school district. These were cheap as I paid out of pocket for the equipment and was doing the video free. I was nervous the quality would be crap but they seem pretty good. Maybe not like feature film abuse good but small interviews no problem these are great for fill light!

There is nothing I can complain about. Very nice softboxes that are extremely easy to set up. The bulbs are bright enough. Wouldn't mind if they were a bit brighter. Nonetheless, they work great.I have spent hundreds more on kits in the past that are not as nice as this.
