Not sure if I have done something wrong, but I cannot get this device to send 1080p output. It always gives 600 x 480. I have another capture card and have done an experiment when I record video from the same device (canon 760d DSLR) via both cards. The alternative card records 1080 x 720, swap cable to this card and I get 600 x 480 every time.Some nice features.....sending power through USB is great when using a macbook as you can get video input and power computer via a single usb port.The build and overall feel is a bit cheap and plasticky, but it has a threaded socket for a mou t to attach it to hot shoe of a DSLR which is a nice touch as it can help to keep things tidy.........if I could just find a way to get 1080p out of it I'd be happy!!Edit...... I've discovered the problem. There's nothing wrong with this product, it works fine. My camera output 600 x 480 from the HDMI port. I've discovered that my other card reader automatically converts any input to 1080p. This product works fine!
