First compass defective but replacement good
I received the original order and there were large air bubbles in the compass oil. The Vion Mini 2000 is purportedly one of the best but there seems to be some slips in quality control. The replacement is fine and an excellent compass.

Good quality product
This hand bearing compass is easy to use and easy to read. It acquires bearings quickly. Using it at night is difficult; you will need a red flashlight (or some kind of light overhead) to see the numbers. The product appears well made and should last a long time.
