Kanu SurfGirls' Melody Beach Sport one Piece Swimsuit

Update as of July 2019: We still own this suit. It has gone through a million washes with detergent and mixed clothing and towels! The elastic is still strong, the colors are still rather bright and the fit is still great. Totally recommend for beach and/or pool.Ordered this colorful swim suit for my six year old daughter. I ordered a size eight - she is 95th percentile for height and weight. The size eight fits her body type nicely.The color is bright and vibrant. The material is a nice thickness/weight for a swimsuit. I like that it is good quality brand with SPF. The straps and edges appear well sewn.My daughter does a lot of swimming in chlorine and we go to the beach a lot. I’ll need update this review after she’s put this suit through a season!

Super cute. I got this suit because it was inexpensive and my 6 year old is taking winter swim lessons and had outgrown her summer suits. It is really cute on and good quality. I bought a size 10 since my daughter wears a 7 in normal clothing and I had read reviews of Kanu suits running small. In my opinion, a lot of kids swimwear sizing runs weird. The 10 fits really nicely - with room to grow so she can wear it this summer, but it's not baggy anywhere, even when wet. I rated it as 'somewhat small' because if a child who actually wears a clothing 10 had it on I would imagine it would be too small.

Definitely true to size my daughter is a size 12 normally and that is the size I purchased. Super cute suit too

Adorable suit. Bought a size 10 for my 4', 62lb 5yo daughter. It fits her perfectly. Very pleased w the quality and cut. Will be purchasing more!ETA: Wanted to come back and add after a few months of using this suit in pool, lake, and outdoor activities. I LOVE this suit. So does my daughter. It has been washed many times (hung to dry) and is holding up perfectly. Easy on and off (no confusing straps) and my daughter finds it very comfortable even under life vest on boat. Highly recommend and have already ordered more Kanu suits!

I really love the Kanu brand of swimsuits for my toddler girl. They have a slightly higher neckline than others, so as she grows she is still covered. The fit is good and even though it is a one-piece I haven't had issues getting them on/off with a water diaper on. I also have been surprised at how well the suits hold up for a season (since she outgrows them each year) - there might be minor pilling at the end of the season, but no fading, etc. Definitely recommend for the price and value.For this particular suit its a bit brighter colored than I was expecting, which is why it is 4 and not 5 stars, but otherwise great.

My daughter is 5 and tall (48") for her age so I ordered the size 6. It fits great and holds up well in her swim class. Straps aren't too long to fall off her shoulder. The size tag is on the side but she doesn't complain that it's itchy or anything. Worth the purchase!

This swim suit is adorable, great colors, I bought it for a 4T for my 2 year old who is 31lbs and it is a tad bit but will be perfect for summer! Super cute, glad I found it on sale!

We have been ordering these swim suits for my daughter since she was born. Quality and fit are great. They are cute and unique. They hold up well and true to size. They do Shrink a bit if you dry in the dryer. I always air dry our swimsuits. Will definitely order from this brand again and again.
