Undrinkable swill. So upset I spent $18 and had to throw it in the trash due to no returns. If my review can save someone else the $18, it's worth it. I am vegan and not picky. I like/love most available products...but this? It was like watery mud. Not even sweet. Hot cocoa that isn't sweet? Why bother. So unpleasant and gritty as well. Just..don't do it. Only gave it 1 star because I had to. Doesn't even deserve 1, trust me.

I was not expecting much as far as taste when I ordered this cocoa mix. I have tried other products and found the flavor to be off.This cocoa mix is the exception! It is super easy to mix..6 ounces of hot water from my Keurig and a couple of spoons full of mix and I am sipping chocolatey goodness. I like my cocoa a bit "creamier" so I add a dash of liquid coconut coffee creamer. Delish!! The powder mixes well with no lumps to contend with.I also use it when I crave something sweet. At 65 calories for 2 Tbsp it hits the mark for satisfying my chocolate craving and calorie counting. Going to try it in my coffee as it should make a great Mocha as well!

This just didn’t taste good at all. I was looking for a quick, easy dairy-free hot cocoa mix that I could make with just hot water, but this just isn’t it. And unfortunately, I can’t return it. I make creamier better hot cocoa with just cocoa powder, sugar, hot water and a splash of almond milk. If you have functioning tastebuds and care about the foods you eat tasting food, this product is not for you. If you can’t really taste most things and convenience over enjoyment is your thing, then go for it.

If you've ever had real hot chocolate, this probably won't feel like a perfect substitute. But this stuff is very convenient to have on hand for dairy-free diet requirements, and it's easy to travel with.The zip pouch doesn't work so well; it kept coming open on its own and I eventually decided to store it in a mason jar to protect from moisture.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from this product, having been disappointed by other dairy-free chocolate products. Wow! What a pleasant surprise! I make it with almond milk, and it’s amazingly creamy and chocolate-y. Hard to believe that this hasn’t got dairy in it, but my gut would tell me if it did. Excellent product—I’ll be ordering more.

I used to love hot chocolate around the holidays. My brothers and I would play out in the slow for hours and the only way to get us back inside was to call us in for hot chocolate. My dairy sensitivity started about 6 years ago and I've been completely lactose intolerant since about 4 years ago. I was so excited to see a dairy free (and completely vegan) hot chocolate product, but I was weary to taste it. Well take it from a long-time hot chocolate connoisseur...it's pretty close to the real hot chocolate I had as a kid. I make it with water and add some of my favorite dairy-free creamer to give it that creamy consistency. I have yet to try it with nut milk instead of water. But I LOVE this product- wish I could be a product ambassador, that's how much I love and recommend it.

I really enjoy this hot cocoa mix, which, frankly, surprised me. I refuse to eat “health” food which tastes awful, just because it’s “good for me.” Food and drink should be satisfying, tasty and nurturing. I read the other reviews and gave this a try. No, it doesn’t taste like traditional hot cocoa made with milk, but it is very tasty. Coffee, which I enjoy, is many times too acidic for me, and this sits easier on my stomach than either coffee or regular hot cocoa. I use this for my morning “warm up” drink, and as a relaxer at night. I find it smooth and satisfying. Sometimes I use really good almond milk instead of water, and my son uses oat milk , for the base. I know it is rather pricey, but a lot less so than boutique coffee shop drinks.

I have been a Starbucks Mocha with Almond Milk drinker. This compares very favorably! Great taste and way less expensive and I can make it at home. A win-win situation.
