these are literally so smooth, just a tied elastic ribbon. no rubber “non-slip”.

Easy breezy comfy fit, hard to find anymore.

I'm so sad....these started out so comfy (no headache) but totally slipped from my hairline back to my high bun within one car ride. I had to return. :-(

I have thin, fine hair and most elastic headbands slide right off -- even the silicone-backed ones. I like these because they are very lightweight (it's basically a stretchy hair ribbon), doesn't dent my hair, stays in place and doesn't give me a headache. I can even comfortably sleep in them. I got the neutral color palette, which has a little sparkle in it for subtle interest. Pretty but not flashy. I plan to go back for additional colors. FYI - This review pertains to headbands from retailer 'THIS SEASON'S COLORS'. I also bought similar headbands from a different Amazon seller who uses the same elastic ribbon, but cuts it so short that its too small for an adult head. I sent those back. I'm only recommending the ones sold by 'THIS SEASON'S COLORS'.

These are beautiful colors, well made, and they came well packaged. I really even hesitate to say a bad word about them because I know it’s rough out there, but the product just didn’t work for me. I do have a small head and very fine, thin, blonde hair. I have always had problems with headbands and it is hard to find ones that will stay. I was really hoping these would because they are so beautiful.

Reasons why I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase:1) . Cost2). Not bulky3). Haven’t had to replace or or fiddle with it AT ALL today4). Can’t even tell I have it on. No headache.5). The sheen that it has means you can even dress it up some.

Super comfortable while keeping hair in place. Soft stretchable elastic. Stays on my head while wearing a ponytail. Like it!

For the price, I was expecting a little bit more. These are literally strips of stretchy fabric with a knot at the end. Pretty easy to recreate if you visited a fabric store. If they were a full loop sewn together with no seams like other headbands, the price might be explainable, but they’re not. I was also hoping that since it stated that they were customizable for tightness, there would be more fabric to play with to loosen up the bands. Again, not so much because the way they’re knotted at the end, there isn’t much more fabric to play with. Unfortunately, my thick, wavy hair and big head makes these uncomfortable for more than half an hour. If they were half the price, I could deal with it, but not at the current price.
