Although in a jazz vein, I found the music lyrical and easy to listen to. The rendering of the music maintains it's original feel but with added import from Legrand's piano work. Very interesting and very entertaining!

Beautiful music from a great composer.

Didn't like it at first. A little too much improvisation/jazz. But the more I play it, the more I like it. And play it preety regularily in the car.

I would prefer to have Legrand's music sung 'cause the lyrics are beautiful. This is all done by him playing the piano. It's still beautiful though. Geo.

I loved Michel Legrand's theme song from the Summer of '42 which is the reason I bought this VERY expensive CD. The production of this CD is unbelievably bad. I have a very good stereo sound system and it is in fine condition as all of my other CDs play just fine. With this one, the audio is set so low you can barely hear the music, the songs are boring, and the Summer of 42 was a complete disappointment. I was so disgusted with it I threw it out instead of even bothering to return it.

It's always interesting to hear what the composer is saying in his music by listening to his interpretation.

I wanted a selection of his work but found the tracks too jazz orientated which lost something of the original orchestrations

This is a beautiful cd .Michel Legrand is for me one of the best songwriters and his piano playing is superb.
