On Cold Ground (Detective Karen Hart Book 5)

This was a really good read. The story carried on from the previous books so probably not a stand alone read. I thoroughly recommend that you read this series. Excellent characters and well plotted story. Looking forward to the next book.

Good book. It felt line an ending. It brought the corruption theme to an end in a current way. This almost felt like tying up loose ends with a murder to solve u did enjoy the boom but wasn't as gripping as previous books . On wards to book 6

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I couldn't have guessed the ending it was absolutely brilliant. I would definitely highly recommend.

These books are addictive, exciting stories with an ongoing story running through them all.

The story layout was compelling so asto lead you to reading the next chapter and so made the book almost to be unputdownable.

I am currently working my way through the Detective Karen Hart series and love them! After reading so many of them you almost feel like you really get to know all of the characters. I’ve still got four books to go in this series and can’t wait to read them!

Books featuring Detective Sergeant Karen are invariably full of many twists and turns but this may be the most convoluted. An excellent page turner.

Wow. This story with its multiple suspects will keep you guessing a lot longer on who is the killer and who is the ring leader of the corruption. Ms. Butler has written a tight story with complex characters and major reveals that will satisfy the fans of the Karen Hart series.

I have been really enjoying the DS Karen Hart series of books. This books ending was so gripping I stayed up until the early hours of the morning to finish it. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Again well written and the characters continue to hold your interest and the plot is believable. Will definitely be back for more of the same.

A little slow in parts but overall a good read if you like crime novels
