Walbro Carburetor Genuine OEM Wyl-240b Same As the Wyl-240-1 Replaces Wyl-196, Mtd, Ryobi, MTD Trimmer

My ryobi 4 cycle weed eater was running great for 2 seasons and I was thrilled that I didn't have to screw with mixing oil and gas and dealing with a finnicky 2 stroke engine...all was well until the unit decided it would not rev any more and when it did, it would immediately die. I disassembled and cleaned the carb to no avail...broke down and bought the cheap replacement. I didn't have high hopes, but I bolted it on, added fresh gas and it fired up on the second pull. My reliable weed eater is back to running like brand new!

My Troy-built TB539es string trimmer was getting harder to start from use to use. Finally I could not get it to start. Seem to be getting a good spark but no fuel. I found that the fuel lines were leaking after priming the motor and the lines were very brittle. I replaced them but the motor would not start with a new tank of fuel. I ordered this carburetor for under 15 dollars and received it in two days, thank you Prime! I bolted it on and topped off the fuel and changed to oil. 11 pumps on the primer bulb, one pull to the rope on full choke. One pull on the rope on half choke and it roared to life. Took the choke off and it idled smoothly. Easiest repair ever. Do yourself a favor and order this to solve your similar issues.

I have a Troy-bilt 575SS 4 cycle trimmer. It died 7 years ago so I bought a new one.Last time the shop wanted $100 to fix it, I spent less than $20 bucks to fix it.It is a exact replacement of the carburetor. Just had to clean and move the O-ring. Replace the hose. Change the spark plug.I grabbed some TRU-FUEL for 4-cycle engines.Went thru the startup sequence. Started up and running, idling nicely, no issues. Turned if off, move to position 2, one pull and its on again. Did that a few times, works fantastic!!!

I used this with Craftsman gas trimmer, model 316.791910, and it was a perfect fit, no adjustments were made, just removed the old one and install this one and the trimmer was working fine again. So far I’ve use the trimmer several times (for long periods of time) and it has not failed yet. Good product.

Awesome buy. My old Troy-Bilt 525 started running really bad then would not start at all (has since been replaced with a Stihl 2 stroke). Replaced the carb with this one and it started on the 2nd pull. I have used it once for a good bit of time and it ran very well. I was going to trash it but did some research and found it was probably the carb. Tried to clean the old one with no luck. Wanted to keep it because I have the edger attachment. This is money well spent.

Quick delivery, looks like proper part from most angles, needs linkage drilled to fit my Ryobi trimmer. Might work great for different year or model, I had to take old part and put on new carb, needed quickly or would habe sent back. Not sellers fault, i just need to either look closer or not buy without checking all views.

Replaced the carb on my Craftsman 4-cycle trimmer 316.791970. It officially uses carburetor part number 753-05440.This was a very low-cost perfect replacement.Just needed to move the throat o-ring from the old to the new.

Used this on my Troy-Bilt 575ss and for less than $15 all my idle and throttle problems were solved. For that money, I couldn't have bothered tearing the old one down and rebuilding it. Don't know how they got it to me in 2 days for that price. Amazing!
