I usually wear small/extra small but according to reviews I ordered a size up. Its a little big, but its not tight when I wear sweaters underneath, which is what I was hoping for. I would have given five stars if it had pockets! I added my own, and it was fairly easy if you are a sewing amateur. Overall, I like the cut a lot. I'm excited to wear it in the spring and fall!

I spent many hours looking for just the right style coat for a group of 19 teenage girls ranging from a Juniors Size 0 - Adult Large - after not being able to find enough of the same coat I finally came across this one. I spent an entire hour reading all the most recent reviews and looking at the pictures that were shared. I felt grateful for all the information that I was able to find as I needed these quickly and didn't have the time to order sizers for the girls.However, I was let down by majority of the reviews that were left. They all said it ran too small and to go 2 sizes bigger. Boy was I an idiot for listening to their advise.This a BEAUTIFUL COAT, VERY WELL MADE - and it runs pretty true to size. unless you are planning to where heavy garments underneath or if you have EXTREMELY broad shoulders, this coat should be purchased in your typical size.!Its not heavy weight - the outside material is a crepe stretch (2-way) and the lining is an off white silk.I have been a Professional Seamstress for 22 years now and can tell you there is nothing about this coat that runs small. The sleeves are a bit long but who doesn't love long enough sleeves that actually cover your wrists. The coat itself is long as described. most all hit at mid calf in the back.My size 00-2 girls (adult XS) needed a Small, Size 4-6 (adult Small) needed a medium, Size 8-10(adult medium) needed a large and Size 12-16(adult large-XL) needed a XL.I myself wear a size 14 in women's (with large arms that usually never fit in a fitted sleeve ) and will be ordering one for myself in a size XL

OMG, this coat is absolutely gorgeous! I love the way it falls cause it's heavy and the design is so pretty. Other reviewers are right, when they say you should order two sizes up because the sizes on the image are not accurate. Normally, I would wear a size 8 (M according to the photo) but this time I ordered XL and it fits perfectly. Like it was made for me. I had anticipated ordering a different size in case this one didn't fit but I'm glad I won't have to do that!

The size chart provided by the seller absolutely is not correct. I wear a size 10 pretty consistently but ordered the XL because it says to order a size up. Their chart shows an XL to fit a size 16, which just isn't true because I couldn't get it around my size 10, 36 bust frame. I am re-ordering to try the XXL and we will see how that fits. The quality of the coat is nice so I hope indeed it does fit.Update: I ordered the XXL and it fits great, since I usually wear a size 10, I hope this helps those who also want to order this coat. It really is a very nice coat, it's just hard to get the correct size.

Love love love this coat! It lays perfectly! It's a thick nylon/poly mix and it's lined. But best of all- it's STRETCHY! It's so comfortable! Others said it was 2 sizes small - so I ordered it 2 sizes bigger- But I would've ordered it 1 size smaller now that I'm wearing it. It's looks professional and awesome, at this size on me- if it were 1 more size smaller it would be more of a sexy look.

I bought this coat for the chilly weather of the Pacific Northwest. It keeps me warm even in an ice cream freezer at work, however the thing I would say about it is this while I love the coat I am not overly thrilled with the way that it clasps in the front. I get lots of compliments on it, and I love the material. Its not too warm or too cold for the constant 50 degree weather and is relatively good in the rain. Downside being the version I got has no hood, but the material does not soak up the rain like a soft fleece, its fairly water retardant. Also be sure to order larger, I'm a medium and the large fits well but for some it would be snug on the shoulders and it is definitely a little tight on my 'girls'. I usually order a size larger to avoid this problem so I should probably have gotten the XL instead of the Large for my Medium build with big boobs... Oh well. I'm 5' 4" with a 34DDD, I generally leave it unclasped for the cloak billow effect, rest of the coat fits perfectly.The picture is quite accurate for how it looks on me, the dove tail can appear shorter however if you have a well endowed bottom. Also that white material in the inside is quite silky, very soft and it doesn't catch on everything!Bottom line, nice coat, beautiful cut, gets you lots of compliments, billows like a Harry Potter cloak for awesome effect, but has a rather sad set of clasps. ORDER A SIZE BIGGER! Does not have pockets.

I LOVE this coat! I was worried about the sizing, but the 3X fits my American L-XL body well. The fabric is a little stretchy. The length(s) are perfect; the front comes to my 5'9" knees, and the back is an elegant drape almost to my ankles. I love the contrasting lining, and the weight is the perfect spring/fall cool, not cold, weather heft. It is NOT wool, but is a nice heavy synthetic of some kind.However. Would it have killed the manufacturer to put in some pockets? Where am I supposed to put my brass goggles 😉?That said, this is a gorgeous dress coat/jacket, and IMO, well worth the price.
