Simple Way To Mount Laptop Drive in Desktop
This adapter is really very simple. It’s a steel stamping that has mounting holes for the bottom of a 2.5 inch drive and mounting holes to match 3.5 inch drive mounts. The adapter is made of a pretty sturdy gauge of steel and powder coated (I think), so it’s rugged. It allows mounting of a 2.5 inch drive, and provides plenty of contact area and overall area, so it also acts as a good heat sink. 2.5 inch HDDs get hot, and so do 2.5 inch SSDs, so a good heat sink helps the drive last longer. The product comes with two adapters, two sets of mounting screws (4 for the 2.5 inch drive and 4 for a 3.5 inch drive bracket) and as a bonus comes with an appropriately sized cross-point screwdriver.I think this is a really good product, it’s a good value, and it does the job well.

Simple but works
These are simple, sturdy, no frills metal brackets that come with screws for mounting a ssd and mounting the brackets to the case. IMHO this is an excellent value.

Best deal around! Don't overpay!
This is a great piece of kit.I need to adapt some 2.5" drives I have and stuff a bunch of them in a single system. I don't have many 3.5" drives taking up my available space, and didn't want to take up my remaining 5.25" drive bays so I opted to covert the remaining 3.5" bays instead.I was about to order some Corsair branded 3.5" to dual 2.5" converters for about $7 a piece when I seen a special deal running for these adapters instead.Boy am I glad I bought these. For less than half the price of the Corsair adapter, you get TWO dual bay adapters. As in 2 separate dual bay units per purchase for a total of 4 drives in two 3.5" drive bays. Not only do you get double the storage potential for your money, you also get a screw driver in each box as well as 8 screws per drive bay for the drives you use, and 4 screws per drive bay to hold them into your case. The screw driver is a great inclusion and is very handy. It definitely has a use other than installing your drives, it's a keeper for sure. The plastic handle on the screw driver has a slightly cheap feel but it's solid. It's an absolute phenomenal value! I ordered 3 boxes as my pictures indicate for a total of 6 drive bay adapters, or 12 drives. I only needed 2 at the most but the price was like $3 per box so I grabbed 3 boxes for future use.Mounting the drives is pretty easy, a little effort required if you have big digits like me handling the tiny screws, but it's a simple, straightforward installation. The quality of everything meets my expectations and feels good; especially for it's meager price tag.Overall this is a whopping 10 out of 5 stars, it's off the charts!! Seriously though, this is a great buy and I'll likely purchase more.

Work Well - AIO HP Owners Take Note
Works as well as other brands, but, costs less. I do lots of hdd to ssd upgrades in my shop and will be buying a larger quantity. Works in pretty much any system, except as noted below in RARE cases your upgrading some HP all in ones. For HP All in One (AIO) owners, due to hp’s proprietary drive caddy you’ll need to hack these (or others like it). The SSD will sit too far back, and some HP’s sata/power connector won’t reach. The HP proprietary caddy has large holes, so 4 small flat washers and screws, can be found at any hardware store for a buck, and will secure your 2.5” drive close enough to connect the sata/power cable. (cleaner and easier than drilling).

Computer mount holes to small
The tray works OK and is very sturdy. The holes for the SSD drive are perfect. The holes for mounting the tray to the computer is the only slight issue I had. The holes are small (same size as the SSD mounting holes) and the screws that come with the tray work perfect if you are installing in a drive bay that you screw through into the tray. I assume this was all so they only had to supply one size screw in the kit. (8 total). If you have any kind of rail system, the holes are to small for the typical screw size. The rail system I had for the Dell system had a rail that connected to the tray with one screw in the center hole and the other two holes (front and back) had little tabs that would fit inside the typical hole size on a 3.5" drive. The tray being a smaller size the tabs didn't fit into the holes so the rails didn't set completely against the tray causing the tray/rail system not to fit back into the computer. I had to drill out the holes to make everything fit OK. Wasn't a show stopper and I really didn't mind drilling out the holes, just had to take the drive back out of the tray to do the work. If you have rails that have the normal size screws in them, that you can't replace with the smaller screws, you could have an issue.

Overall good product
Overall good quality. Gave me a bit of a headache installing it in a dell computer, which uses pins instead of screws, so I had to enlarge the holes. other than that loved the fact that it came with mounting screws included.

Perfect Fit For Samsung SSD easy to Install
Great bracket at good price. Easy to install. Fast delivery. All hole matches with the Samsung EVO SSD & the old HDD socket. More than enough mounting screws included. Thank you.

Good value, easy to use
Bought these to allow mounting of an ssd into a rosewill 4500 4U case. These held the ssd securely and allowed use of the standard 3.5" drive clips

not a lot to say here, they're metal brackets.

Quality is not there but the price is right
Two main complaints with this adapter:- Be careful of the sharp edges, this thing WILL open your finger if you're not conscious of it when handling. We're a sheet metal manufacturer so I know dull punch tooling when I see it. I know it costs money to maintain tooling and these things are cheap so that's fine, I'm OK with less than perfect edge profiles but at least de-burr your product before sending it out.- The pattern of the side mounting holes is off. The two holes closest together seem to be OK but the 3rd hole (on both sides) is shifted outward by about 1.5mm (1/6").
