The size is great. I tried to use my hand for scale. The covers corner is bent so ill have to take that up with the seller but the page weight is decent, but probably won't support paint well. Good binding and nice feel. Great value for price

Amazing sketchbook, strathmore is always talked about amongst artists and for great reason. This sketchbook is perfect, high paper quality, great binding, would recommend to most.

Of all the college supplies in my daughter's box, *this* was the one she grabbed and wouldn't put down. She loves this sketch book (and has had in the past and carried everywhere to take class notes, draw and create -- and create drawings *from* class notes!). The pages are thick and smooth, the binding is strong. It's really a treasure to have all of those wonderful creations bound together! I highly recommend this to parents, too, who have a child who cannot keep from drawing and doodling on every piece of paper they can get their hands on. The binding is attractive and it's a good way to keep those sketches together. By using it as a school notebook, of sorts, I didn't have to look at each and every loose paper wadded in her backpack to make sure I wasn't throwing away an excellent piece of art drawn on notebook paper (she doesn't value her 'work' as I and her classmates do). For value 5-star; for quality 5-star; for having all that art in one place it's invaluable!
