UPDATED: Hello shoppers! Like most of you, I am a hardcore critic. If it's garbage, I'll be the first to say so. THIS THING MADE THE CUT WITH FLYING COLORS! I work during the night in Tampa. The morons that drive here are among some of the worst I have ever seen. So I take visibility extremely seriously, my life depends upon it. The light is surprisingly bright, and throws off a flash bright enough to be seen a respectable distance away. Bear in mind, this is not a $500 Mars Bar. But for its size, I was fairly impressed. It has a power cord that is plenty long enough to reach just about anywhere, and the on/off rocker switch is a nice feature. I think it offers 14 different flashing modes, which to be frank, is overkill. There are really only about 5 modes that I would ever consider using. But whatever, it's a nice added feature to be able to choose to your particular taste. You can leave it plugged in. For the money I don't think you can do much better than this one. Also a good thing to toss in the trunk if you should ever break down roadside. Keep your visibility high, and you just may avoid having some distracted texting idiot parked in your back seat. I'll be buying at least one more very soon, and i think i sold my boss on supplying the other trucks in our fleet with these also. Here's your update, fellow shoppers! I did purchase a second unit, now I have one one both sides of my truck's cab, and the flash rivals mid level mars bars. Easy to see me coming a mile away AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT'S ABOUT. SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY! Also....to extend the life of the units, stow them inside the vehicle when not in use. No need to let the elements beat on them if it's not necessary, and the Florida sun is a KILLER on equipment.

Very bright. Cord is nice and long and I like that it isn't the coiled, stretchy kind. The cord reaches from the 12V outlet to the light in the middle of the roof on my '05 Tacoma just fine. Its been on the top of my truck all winter for snow removal season and hasn't presented any issues of functionality. I like all the different modes, though I do just stick to a standard strobe pattern. I made a 900-mile round trip jaunt downstate with it on the roof and it didn't fall off on the freeway going 75mph. Good light, great price, very happy with it.

Works just like it said, and as I hoped it would. Several choices for warning light, and nice and bright from a distance, even during daylight. I have mine on top of my skid steer, which I use as a plow for my yard and driveway in the winter. I have to cross the town road to plow my mailbox out, and this gives me comfort that vehicles can see me from a distance away, even though I am very careful to watch for vehicles. Would bye again. Pros-All stated above. Cons- None.

I purchased this light to use for my Rural Carrier Mail Route. Its got quite a long cord which allowed me to run the light through my vehicle and into the middle of my roof. On the plug there is an option to change your flash setting which is a great feature. The light itself has kind of a less than amazing magnet and is showing wear. The plug portion is not overly durable as I have kicked it a few times attempting to deliver a package and it has broke so I just hard wired it. All and all its a pretty good product with a better than average light output.

When I purchased this is was not intended for over 40 mph. There was a piece of paper in box but nothing in the description online. I was kind of upset about that but I see now they updated description and it says 65mph. I swapped out the original magnet base with a earth magnet from Home Depot with the exact same dimensions lucky enough and it worked great. Been 75 mob plus without an issue and even through a car wash ( accidentally) and never an issue. It is plenty bright enough even during the day.

This is a nice strobe for the money. the magnet is strong enough as long as you have it on a solid piece of metal and not the middle of you roof where it is thinner. Which is how any magnet will be, drove down the highway 60+ no issues. Used it for plowing and hit many teeth jarring curbs ect. and still holds strong!!!

Product came as described. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be but will work just fine. Product also came on time and works great. All setting work and lights are bright. It will be great for our jobsite pick up truck

We bought these specifically for snow plowing which is always done at night or in a snowstorm so they work good for our needs. We ordered several of these and had to return one but it didn’t work right had a short in it. That’s why I didn’t give it 4 stars.

Bought for use with my Jeep Wrangler which I use for snowplowing in the winter. As the Jeep has a fibreglass winter cap, the light won't adhere magnetically to the top. Was considering mounting it on the engine hood, which is metal, but then it won't be seen from behind. Instead, I also purchase the Be Magnet 249lb pull magnet (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0714LM3L5/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). With that on the cap inside, it pulls on the light on the outside very securely. With 14 patterns, there's something for everyone. I personally chose the slower rotating pattern to mimick a standard rotating light. I was very pleased that it remembers the chosen pattern the next time you turn it on so you don't need to select the pattern again. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

Great light. All light modes work and is plenty bright. Strength of magnet seems adequate. Left on top of truck at highway speed and stayed on. Used in wind and rain storm and no problems! Power cable and switch are of good quality and work fine so far.

work perfectly for me

A bright warning light in a small form factor. I mount it on the fiberglass cap of my pick-up. Using a powerful magnet inside my cap to hold the light in place didn't work because there is 2 layers of fiberglass and 1 layer of plywood. I silicone a 6 inch round piece of scrap galvanized metal roofing on the cap. It holds the light well, and makes it easy to clean the snow off.

Fairly bright, works well. After 8 months on the roof of the vehicle, moisture getting in, screws rusted and plastic faded. Don’t expect it to last very long unless kept dry.
