I can tell why my D levels get low, but OTC vitamins have ingredients that cause more trouble than they're worth. I was taking a once a week high dosage of D2. While it helped, I still had signs of being low on D. I was convinced to take D3 instead so got these as a random try. I'm so glad I did. I have seen a major improvement since I have been taking these. They are free of: Gluten, wheat, dairy, soy, yeast, sugar, sodium, Artificial flavor, sweetener, preservatives and color. I believe this is why I have had no issues taking these what-so-ever. The best part is that they are small and easy to take.
