Great idea but difficult to open and close
The price was good but the telescoping is not smooth. It feels a little weak with all the extensions out.

It's good for pointing or as a seeing eye stick
Metal is quite thin except for bulb at end wich is solid.... I'm afraid if I have to use it in defense, the pole would bend upon impact. If I were to use as trekking pole I wouldn't be able to put much pressure if any on pole while extended

Got this, was a bit nervous since a lot of reviews on other pages had the same item picture with low ratings. This one went well. Was easy to extend. The metal tip is rather hard, and could hurt someone or objects on accident. I recommend spending some extra money on rubber tips if you use this in a teaching environment. It even came with a red tassel, which was a nice bonus.

Flimsy toy, poor quality.
Not a well made self defense tool.1) It feels that it would break if a force hits it in the middle while extended.2) it is very flimsy it can’t be partially extended and It will not lockdown to add rigidity and sturdiness
