Good Update for Old Heater
I installed this to replace an old GE in-wall unit that was original to my 1970's condo. I picked this one because it had the same basic rough-out dimensions so I wouldn't have to do any drywall repair/replacement. The biggest challenge is that this unit must be wired at the bottom and the old unit was wired at the top. The wiring from my wall was too short to reach the bottom, so I had to install a new junction box to extend the wiring. That was an big pain in the ***, but no fault of the manufacturer of this unit. Once I finally got it installed, it worked great! A little bit on the loud side when it's running, but nothing you can't just tune out as white noise.

Installation.
The product is great. I had one before this one, lasted about 12 years. Bought new one to replace it. Installed it on 1-23-19, it went belly up on 2-3-2019. Warning light went on. Shut off the power. Inspected all wire connections, they seem to be fine; however, warning light will still turn on when I try to turn on the heater. Reset apparently does not work. Bummer. I gave it a one star overall rating because of the short time it took to go belly up. Any suggestions?
