I wasn't sure about ordering these because I've never had silicone oven mitts. I ordered figuring if I didn't like them I could return them. Well...I LOVE THEM! They fit my hand really well yet they fit my husband's hands as well and his hands are large - not sure how that works, but it does! The mitts have a nice padding inside but what I really like about them is how flexible they are so you feel like you really have a grip on the hot pot you're picking up. Some oven mitts are so bulky you feel like you can't grab the tray or pot with a firm grip. Also they have a texture on the outside of the mitts which I'm sure helps with the grip too. I am totally satisfied with my purchase and would buy them even as a gift - they are really that nice!

All Time Favorite Oven Mitts! I ordered these after our old cloth mitts finally bit the dust. I had never had silicone oven mitts and these do NOT disappoint. They are very well made and durable. First of all, they are heat resistant to high heat, I was even able to hold the pan for a while as I removed the food without feeling the heat and the grip is fantastic. I love that the texture is on both sides making these flexible and super user friendly. The length on these mitts are long enough that they cover the wrist/forearm area that always gets burnt yet they still fit in the drawer. They've also been great in gripping a frozen metal container, as they did not stick at all and my fingers stayed nice and warm. On the inside, it's so soft, literally like a cotton quilt. I've even caught my kids playing in them because they love how they feel and since they are super durable and easy to clean, I do not have to worry about them ruining them. Win Win for me...I even plan on gifting them as I believe every kitchen needs a pair.

I got these for my husband's birthday last year and we both absolutely love them! We've burned through several cloth type ones over the years and I got tired of having to replace them all the time. These will definitely last us a long time. The silicone is super heat resistant and there's a cotton cloth lining inside for added comfort. I have particularly small hands so they're a bit big but not so much that it's a problem in any way. All in all, they come highly recommended!

For a man's hands, they are a bit small. If you are wearing a long sleeve dress shirt or chefs jacket the narrowness of the openings makes it difficult to pull the gloves all the way up. One last bummer, with man sized hands you will pull the lining inside out when you take your hands out of the mits so you'll need to be careful. Other than the small size they work great. Perfect for my wife's small hands.

They work as they should. Keeps my hands from feeling the heat when I pull out hothe pans from the oven. Where I really notice thedifference is when bringing in a cast iron pan from the grill. My old mits, I'd basically be burning my hands in the 30 seconds it would take to run into the kitchen. With these I can take my time and my hands are still cool.

I thought I could get burned using these - turns out, its very difficult to do that. Takes a lot of the sting out of cooking. Bacon fat doesn't bother these things. Neither does that boiling liquid that gets on the mitts when you take baked chicken out of the oven. Impervious to that flash of steam when you open up a rice cooker. My wife likes them.

I ordered these after a pair of neoprene gloves left me with a nasty blister from a slight tear. The silicone construction of these gloves provides excellent heat protection, but the extended cloth gauntlets would not fit my wrists/forearms. If you have slender wrists and forearms these would be absolutely fantastic, but those like me with "Popeye" forearms are out of luck as the glove would not fit fully onto my hand and arms.

I'm going to need to order another pair for him!
