Hated the Ending
This was a fascinating concept and well executed, but I really hated the ending. I know that a reader's impressions are subjective, and I am writing this review from my point of view, so others might not agree with me, but I like a happy ending when I read a novel, and this has anything but. That said, until the lsat chapter, I was enjoying the story, and thought it was executed wonderfully. Yes, there were some editing errors, but it was well written, and I could clearly understand how the author arrived at her conclusion. I just didn't like it, which is why I am not giving it 4 or 5 stars. It left a bad taste in my mouth.

Good psychological thriller
I liked the book and you really do not see the ending coming...but i also hear that there is a sequel so maybe not everything is as it appears

kept me wondering
I discovered this book, Dreamville by Renee Porter, through the kindle owner's lending library. The description sounded interesting so I made it my bed night companion for several evenings. I like to read a little each night before sleep but it was hard to put this book down after an hour. This novel is about a woman named April who keeps waking up in one of two realities. She calls one reality Dreamville and is happy until events in Dreamville seem to be affecting the real world. As the reader, you are as perplexed as the character of April, who is not sure what is happening to her. Is it a dream, time travel, something supernatural or something else completely? The author keeps you wondering right up until the ending when all is revealed.I was surprised. I'm not often surprised so that made this book all the more enjoyable for me. The story would make a good, yet dark, episode for a modern Twilight Zone series. The elements in this story and how the author ties up things at the end really had me interested in finding out more about how the mind works.I definitely recommend this book I plan to check out some of her other novels.

A great read with a surprise ending that will take your breath away.
The best word to describe this novel is "haunting." It stayed with me for days. I am familiar with this writer from her other novels but this is something new and different. The ending is so unexpected and shocking that I was just stunned and then I couldn't get it our of my mind. A great read!

Dreamville
This is a psychologial twist within thefantasy genre that keeps you unnerved throughout the read and then really shocks you! Just how much assault can a mind endure? The characters stayed with me long after the final page.
