Wisconsin (A True Book: My United States) (A True Book (Relaunch))

Reading along all the expected True Book state material, and then out of the blue there is a whole page devoted to Act 10. See photo. Huh? This is the sole item offered to represent the work of a Wisconsin’s state government. I can’t believe that made it through editing, cause it really feels out of sync with the rest of the book.Otherwise I feel the book is up to the standard I expect from True Book. It’s hard not to feel the author wasn’t just taking a shot at propagandizing children with pro-union sentiment. It doesn’t feel age appropriate in the context given. You be the judge.

This is a good book for children. Nice pictures and easy to read material.

Purchased this for neighbors daughter who was doing a project on Wisconsin It was perfect for her!
