Overall, I’m very pleased with this case. I used it for a week, washing it with soap and water several times a day, and my phone stayed dry. Dropped it a few times, with no damage to the phone or case. The screen protector does not affect the phone responsiveness, nor does the case affect Face ID. It also includes replacement covers for the silencing switch, which seems like the weakest point in the case. The waterproof port cover is wide enough to easily accept all my cables. Lastly, it does not add a lot of bulk to the phone for the protection it offers.Two items keep it from being 5 star. First, there is no documentation with the phone for testing or installing the case, despite there being several promotional print outs. Second, sound coming from the speakers at the bottom is noticeably muffled and reduced, more so after getting wet. However, this has been an issue with every waterproof case I have owned, and this one is less noticeable than others.Add in the limited lifetime warranty from Ghostek, and I can definitely recommend this case.

I have had this phone for maybe two weeks. I dropped it today while walking and it already cracked. I bought this case because of its “drop protection”. So much for that. Very disappointed that I spent $50 dollars for a case with drop protection and it cracked the first time I dropped the phone.

I was a hardcore lp fre user for years and years. I buy a waterproof case every year before I head to the beach. Last years case had a huge bubbles in the screen and sound was horrible. So this year I did some google searching and found the ghostek, for half the price of my normal case I decided to give it a try. I’ve used it on two trips and love it. I do not use these cases except for vacation on the beach. Sound is a little muffled but that’s expected for a waterproof case. I was very impressed with the picture quality I got snorkeling in Cozumel with my ghostek. I know what I’ll be grabbing next year for my next phone.

The case feels sturdy and fairly compact, I feel safe with it on and don’t think it will break. I haven’t tested the water proofing, which I got this case specifically for since I’m always on the water for my job. The screen responds well and doesn’t feel like there is any delay in the response. My only gripe is that it scratches easily, the screen already has some minor scratches after I put it in my pocket with my earphone case. This is very disappointing, but the damage is minor and I only notice it if I’m really paying attention to it so I’m still willing to give it a good rating. However, I can’t have anything in the pocket with it anymore which can be annoying so I can’t give it a perfect rating. Overall it’s a good case.

Good protection for drops. Thin material protects silent mode switch. Touchscreen works pretty good overall, but not great around edges. Audio quality is terrible, on calls and when I record video. People I talk to always complain, I have to use headphones for calls. Other waterproof cases I’ve had did not have this big of a problem. I must have a waterproof case and they are all not great, so if audio isn’t a big deal and you don’t use the silence switch often, this case will do the job, at least for a while.Update: after a month or so, I cannot keep this case. I have always had a waterproof case to seal out dust, as I work in a metal shop. I’ve had four or five before this one. None had such awful sound quality. People routinely ask what I’m doing when I talk to them on the phone. Videos I’ve taken with my daughter are ruined by the awful sound quality, which sounds like the wind is howling, or I’m rubbing the mic against a beach ball or something. For this reason alone, this product is useless to me!

I bought this case for my brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max. I had honestly never heard of the company until the day I bought the phone. Did a quick Google search for “waterproof case Pro Max 12" and this came up several times. It looked good, the price was considerably less than some of the others.The price of this is roughly equal to that of a normal shell case and a screen protector. I have a beach vacation coming up, and I also am an avid off roader. I am constantly in and out of the Jeep to take pictures, in mud, water, sand, dirt, and more mud. Foot deep mud. Drop a phone into that and it will be done for.I’ve only had the case on for a little while. There are no instructions in the box, you are directed to a YouTube video showing how to test the water seal before putting the phone in. The video is a little misleading, it tells you to re-do the fingerprint Touch ID with the case on, but the 12 does not have that feature. I’ve only had the phone a day and didn’t know that.It looks good, the seal seems good. Waterproof test worked. Call quality on normal or speakerphone does not seem affected. Responsiveness of the touchscreen is also unaffected. The silent mode switch looks like it may be an issue, if a fingernail tears it. They supply three spares but no instructions for what they are or how to install them. I was concerned about the thick case and wireless charging, but it works. I Have a TYLT wireless Q charging cradle in the Jeep. Uncovered, the phone fits perfectly. With this case, it is stretched to the max and requires two hands to insert or remove, but the wireless charge works fine.***updated July 30, changed 4 stars to 5 stars***took on a week long trip to Mexico. The case survived being dropped, multiple hours in the pool, and dips into the Caribbean. Sometimes it is difficult to press the photo button while underwater, but this is typical for all covers. When it gets wet the response is changed.Great value, great performance and appearance.

This is awful. Cheap and tacky.Yo cannot make a call without the person on the other end of the call saying” speak up I can’t hear you”Also the front screen protector is absolutely disgusting. It is lifted about a Third of a inch of the screen and the touch screen on phone is virtually unresponsive. Don’t not buy, it’s garbage.

Purchased specifically due to its claims of being a waterproof case. There was water ingress when placed just under the surface of water for a very short period. Nowhere near the limits advertised. The screen scratched very easily. The case felt nice and didn’t make the phone too bulky, hence 3 stars. Returned due to its two most important features failing.

I don’t normally leave reviews but my Mum reversed over my bag breaking my sunglasses, a can of Coke Zero and the pop socket off the back of the phone case but my phone is UNHARMED so 10/10 Mr Ghostek.

This phone case was so flimsy and of such poor quality I did not even bother putting my phone in the case. Absolutely appalled over the standard of quality of the product versus price. If you are an outdoorsy or accident prone person do not even bother buying.

Really please with my phone case, I work in construction so it’s a really tough environment and this case is perfect! Very happy A+++++
