Wrote a previous review but was told it could not be posted....So to make a long story short, I will certainly be buying this product form this seller again for more reasons than one. Oil is very clean and customer services was more than great. I highly recommend buying this product. I am a new soap maker and will 100% buy this again from this seller.

My 3 star review is due to the packaging. Inside the 5 gallon bucket, the coconut oil is inside a plastic bag. The oil was liquid because it’s July, in Texas, and the plastic bag did nothing to hold in the oil. The oil wasn’t all in the bag, it was all around it.Anyway, the plastic bag is secured with a plastic zip tie. After becoming an oily mess cutting the oil saturated bag & zip tie, I was seriously angry about the second plastic bag inside the first one, also closed with a zip tie, also not holding the oil in it.After finally getting them both open they were in the way, so I decided to pull them out. This worked fine since the oil was liquid, but ended up a messy hassle when it didn’t need to be.I’ve never gotten coconut oil inside a plastic bucket inside two plastic bags before, it’s always just in the bucket. .Had the oil been in a solid state it would’ve been slightly less messy, but that would’ve made the plastic bags impossible to get out of the way. They would’ve been “frozen” in the solidified oil.I would give this five stars if the packaging wasn’t such a dang hassle, that caused me to lose ounces of my oil. Being a soap maker, every ounce is important.Besides that, the plastic bags seem unnecessary and just add excessive packaging in a world where we need less waste. .

It took me over a hour to get the lid off! I took off the strip, then prodded and pried, then finally cut a slit in the top to pry off the lid with a screw driver. That’s ridiculous. With the way the lid is on the container there’s no reason for the bags inside the bucket. I lost several ounces just trying to get into this thing.
