uni-ball EMOTT Fine Line Pens, Fine Point (0.4mm), Assorted Ink, 5-count, Vivid

These are my favorite pens. The colors are vibrant. The tip of the pen is fine. They do not bleed through any of the paper that I use. The pens also do not easily dry out. They are perfect. I use these at work and for school all of the time. They are definitely worth the price!

I like the set of nicely made color pens. Exactly what I wanted. I do tend to write small and the photo isn't my best sample as I didn't want to make it so. But the color is good although I think to be called fine I would prefer a slightly smaller width line. But that is me and I can adjust.

This is my second set of these pens. The dark ones may create some shadowing, but they do not bleed through Bible pages.

Felt tip. Very fine. Love the unique shape and design. Can use the base as a holder. They click into the base so if it knocks over they don't go flying everywhere.

You can see the size of the writing in my picture - i did my shopping list with them yesterday. They are a true fine tip. They feel very nice in the hand as you’re writing. They are nicely packaged, and the pens snap into a small plastic block, should you choose to use it, and not just throw your pens in a pencil case. I have one issue - the yellow is hard to see on white paper. Luckily, i was only getting 4 items at the store, so i could remember that my yellow item was jalapeños. If it were a more mustard yellow colour, i think it would show up better. They feel very nice on the paper, no drag at all, and feel somewhat like a very fine tip sharpie. I think these colours are quite basic, and I’d like to get some of the other colours now I know how well these perform.

I do with there was a clip so i could attach it to notebooks, but i love the fine point

Since these pens are not rollerballs, they do get dull quicker and start to write thicker and thicker

This 5 pack is an OK set but I have gotten better quality from the brand UNI before and I'm not so sure about these. They feel like cheap plastic and when you write with them you expect a little bit bolder line even if it is very fine. By that I mean a richer look to the line... and a bit more accurate color... in fact the green is more like a yellow green. but what bothers me is if you so much as hesitate for a split second, you get too much of an ink blob hitting the paper so you have to write continuous to get clean lines. I understand that these are not expensive and for that for that fact maybe a child who shows prominence in drawing would benefit from them. I do like how nicely the cap snaps on. they also snapping to this base they provide but the base is just thin plastic and it will fall over if you try to stand it up. Lay the set in a drawer they will stay altogether so that part's nice. but as far as writing and drawing with them, I have a ton of art pens that are thinner than this and write a smoother richer line, even from UNI.
