If you'd like something Snell approved for just about $30 more, try the Scorpion EXO-R420 in solid colors. It's certified XS-2XL (3XL is not included as certified). You can usually find it for $149, and it gets high ratings from buyers.

Q: Does the sun visor lock in place in the up position, or will it come down when I hit a good pothole/bump?

The visor doesn't lock, but it won't come down from your typical pothole. To get mine to even partially deploy, I have to drop my helmet on a table pretty hard. An equivalent pothole would send you highsiding for days, and at that point a misdeployed sunvisor is going to be the very least of your worries.

I have this helmet and I can fit my glasses in no problem and also have not had any vision problems

Q: is the black red helmet gloss or matte?

The Evo Kub is gloss. That is red/white/black
