The packaging is now biodegradable

Does it shred little bits all over the place?

No. It feels like a smooth soft paper, and is as good as if not better than the more expensive brands of conventional wood based paper toilet tissue. And no plastic wrapping either.

Does it come in just paper wrapping or in a cardboard box please?

It come in a paper bag but amazon normally put it in a box before delivery
